Staff at front desk were super nice. The rooms were not as clean as they should be. Smelled of old water. Bath tub needed to be replaced because there were cracks in it but they decided to patch it up instead.

We visited River Walk and Alamo. This hotel is not directly on River Walk, but only takes an easy 7-10 minutes walk to get there. Hotel has free onsite parking, which is very convenient. Across the street, there is a H.E.S store that we bought fresh fruits or freshly cooked pizza. BTW, the 7 inch pizzas we had tasted great! There are a couple of things can be improved. One is the carpet and furniture start showing their age and could take an upgrade. The free breakfast is great except the menu stays same. Mixed the menu over the days can make guests feel happier. In one sentence, if you are visiting San Antonio, La Quinta should be on your list of top choices if you care convenience, cleanness, free parking and value.

We stayed one night and wouldn’t go back. The bed was uncomfortable and made noises with any shifting. The AC machine rattled the entire time making it hard to sleep. The bathroom needs some attention as there was visible mould on the ceiling, bubbling paint and discolouration in the corners of the shower. Now for the good, the staff were very welcoming and the free breakfast had good options. There was lots of spaces for the self parking and the H-E-B across the street was a nice option for snacks.

Good condition, big rooms, comfortable beds. We booked 3 rooms. The problem we had was that 1 room didn't receive housekeeping and when contacting front desk, they didnt have anyone available later in the day to have the room cleaned. No compensation was offered.

Arriving late after a very long harrowing windy drive from New Orleans, all I wanted to do was sleep. The front desk staff were very sweet and accommodating. He could see I was overstimulated and offered me a bottle of water. The room was great! We all slept like logs! The breakfast had many options. Only draw back is parking is only available for 1 car. We had two. They will request you park the 2nd off site. Would definitely come back.

Nice spacious rooms. Very clean. Nice staff. I was a bit upset that I was charged $240 per night for a room that is normally about $75 and then the hotel wanted $25 to let me in my room early even though it was ready!

We loved that this seems like a renovated or new location. Loved that a small Heb market is next door. It was very clean inside, room and bathroom. Had good stock of snacks and necessary complimentary toiletries. Good availability of breakfast options. The ONLY thing that we were bummed about was that the pool was outdoors and it was very dirty. My kids were so looking forward to a swim. Maybe clean the pool more often. We would consider staying here again.

I did not like that all of the bathrooms tubs were not upgraded in the hotels. Last year I had a lovely stand in shower and this year I had a old and dirty tuba and paid more than I did for the room with the shower last year. Please make it fair for all of your guest and update all of your bathroom tubs to showers. Thank you.
