The place was charming, quaint and clean. My only suggestion would be to have more stability in the shower to prevent people from falling and hurting themselves the way I did.

Mulberry tower “sanctuary in the city”
In town for airman’s graduation, the short time we had with our son was nice, and we very much enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of this home and neighborhood. It’s away from the airbase but close to downtown and the airport and just a few blocks from expressway to get across town to the base. Local restaurants are also very close. Just a few minutes from Walmart 😁 Very gracious hosts also reside at the property. This upstairs apartment is cozy, comfortable, very clean! With upstairs porch that is very nice in the evening if you prefer the outdoors and a breeze to the air conditioning. Beautiful place to stay, wonderful folk to stay with. Would definitely recommend👍

Expectation Overload
This rental is so nice, the decor is pleasing and aesthetically correct for the area. It was well equipped with everything that we needed and lots of extras. There were fresh pastries and full coffee service, extra supplies, nice parking space within a gated entrance and the owners were easy to get in touch with. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful and cozy stay!
Everything about this place was so homey and nice - from the little balcony seating area and the games under the tv. Bedrooms and kitchen was very accommodating and would definitely stay here again. Very safe property and very gracious hosts!

We were met with such a warm greeting. Carlos and Nancy made us feel very welcome and the place is beautiful. At the end of each day it was nice (going home) and not back to a room. We would definitely stay there again!!

Property was nice. The area is not the greatest but the house was nice. Had a gated entry, nice for security purposes since we had a rental. Slight issue with tv not working, owner refunded $50. Our last night it was raining. Water started going thru windows in both bedrooms so that was an inconvenience. Owner initiated another $50 refund, which I agreed since it was our last night. However, that credit has not made it to my credit card. I reached out to Vrbo and owner with no reslution. Owner has not responded to my request for other verification. My credit card company does not have the second refund. So that kind of is a bummer. We go to San Antonio yearly, and would have booked here again if not for the rain coming in thru the windows.

Wonderful stay!
Amazing hosts! They were very attentive to all our requests. The apartment was very clean and the treats left for us by the hosts were super yummy. Having our vehicle secured at night by a security gate was a major plus. The neighborhood was very quiet. The commute to the riverwalk area is about 10-15 mins and the commute to Lackland AFB was about 15 mins(25 mins with traffic). I highly recommend staying here when visiting San Antonio!

Great place to stay!
We had a fantastic time in San Antonio over a long weekend in February. This vacation rental was perfect. It was clean, homey, and had plenty of space for us. That would have been the case at a hotel for sure. Great, secure parking arrangement in the back under a carport. The hosts lived directly below the rental and were friendly and gave us suggestions for places to visit and eat while we were in town. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Stay for Commencement
Carlos and Nancy are amazing hosts. Nancy took time out of her day to take us on a tour of the premises, explaining how things worked and providing suggestions on local food places. When we encountered her and Carlos outside they were very personable and engaged in conversation with us. Nancy gifted us with desserts and a welcome note. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location for your San Antonio stay.

Home Away from Home
We loved this space, and the location. Carlos and Nancy were great hosts. They're on the floor below you, and were awake, and there to greet us and welcome us even though we arrived later than we planned. The porch/balcony/tower was a perfect place for us to wind down together as a family, and to get my day started with coffee. The beds were comfortable, and the space was just perfect. We will be back!

There are good places to stay in San Antonio, for sure; and then, there is Carlos and Nancy‘s apartment… This is THE place. This is in fact, one of the best stays I’ve had anywhere in the US. What makes it so exceptional? Perfect location. Impeccable house and amenities. All of this offering a home away from home. Every detail has been carefully addressed to make the space confortable, tasteful, and functional. Soft towels, confortable beds, functional kitchen and bathrooms. Then, the hosts…. exceptionally kind, helpful and super interesting to talk to. We will come back!
