「Many thanks to Frederico and staff for a wonderful stay at Casa Villa Gardenia! Everyone was so helpful with directions and recommendations. There is a grocery store nearby with reasonable prices and lovely pizzeria where we went for a lovely dinner. The breakfast served was very substantial. Clean rooms with modern bathroom. Great area, close to train to Venice. Would stay there again!」

「The apartment is close to one of the ferry stops (St Angelo) which is convenient. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood but still very close to restaurants and shops. There are NO ELEVATOR although it’s in the picture. The WiFi was so bad. Getting the keys was so inconvenient. We took the water boat to St Angelo, while the other person waited with the suitcase, I walked to the pick-up location and back. It takes 15min if you take the boat (single ride €9.50) to get across or 30min if you go...

「From our arrival at the hotel our stay was perfect! We were greeted with a smile and a glass of Prosecco to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The room was airy and spotlessly clean, with two tall windows onto the street. The hotel is near to restaurants and shops, but really quiet at night. It’s also within easy walk of all the sights, museums and churches. I would recommend a stay, and would definitely return to Venice and this hotel.」

「a hidden gem. so close and easy walk to and from the train station. i appreciated the host accommodating our late check in due to airport stopping. laura and mossimo were extremely nice! my kids loved it as well. we had the bottom floor room and we did hear all the walking/talking/suitcase rolling BUT didn’t bother us since we were so tired from traveling. venice is walkable! so even with a family of 4 we walked!」

「The Hotel it is difficult to find, because it is nestled in between a restaurant. Better directions need to be provided. The elevator was broken and it was difficult to carry all the luggage to what they call the 2nd floor but really is more like the 3rd floor. I came home with a pull back, and I am fairly young.
