"This is such a lovely place to stay on holiday - the surroundings are beautiful and it is peaceful and relaxing. You can see Etna really clearly one way and the sea in the opposite direction, and the grounds of the accommodation are bursting with grapevines, olive and lemon trees, etc. Gabriella and her family are fantastic and made us so welcome. "A great property in very easy reach of Mt Etna, Taormina, Catania (40 mins from each), and Milazzo. There is also a lovely beach just 10mins away. The neighbourhood is a bit a non-descript, but it is a lovely property, quiet, with a lovely "temporary" pool which is a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Francesco the host was great throughout the stay. Highly recommended as a base for visits around Etna."

"We had everything we needed at this apartment. The parking was one street away in a public parking area and we felt the car was safe. The wifi was a bit challenging at times, but with patience, we were able to complete the tasks we wanted to do. Most of the time the wifi was OK. Maria and family were helpful and very friendly. "Tiziana and her husband were very helpful and came out quickly if there were any issues. It's a lovely villa, however not the biggest of spaces, kitchen is small, especially on a poor weather day. Wifi is poor. For a few days unfortunately there were issues with the pool. They were very apologetic and these things happen. Being near Mount Etna was great and the view is amazing. Une place de parking à l intérieure , un jardin à l ombre avec salon de jardin, table et barbecue. Au-dessus de la maison une grande terrasse avec salon de jardin très ensoleillée. "Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."
