San Juan del Sur Family Hotel

"We had 2 families with 4 teenagers and a child between us, and this house fit us perfectly. It was very comfortable for us. Plenty of areas like small living rooms to hang out in, and the pool was large enough for our group. Everything you need is in the kitchen, bring your own groceries."

"Dreamsea Nica is a paradise. Located between San Juan del Sur and Maderas surf Beach. When you enter through the gates you are immediately transported into a lush tropical paradise where the only sound is nature. The staff was friendly, attentive where anything you asked for was not a problem. The rooms were incredible. Tastefully decorated with a big comfortable bed, and veranda. The pool was refreshing with a Tiki bar to make everything right Yoga and surf was offered each day....

"I booked Aqua Resort at the end of a week long active trip in Nicaragua to relax and unwind. Overall it was a nice stay as long as you are aware of a few things. Pros: The view from my suite (Sapote LS) was one of the most beautiful sights I've seen with clear view of the ocean. The plunge pool was perfect for the hot temps. The room was spacious and there was an additional room/kitchen if you want to prepare your own food. The beach was private and so pretty. I enjoyed the restaurant...

"Guacalito is has Brand new facilities, there are two Great restaurants with international food, the hotel has a great un-expensive cigar store. The hotel property is huge with three Nice Private beaches, one of them with white sand beaches. We really enjoyed. "

"The location is fabulous- we were in one of the Cangrego units right by the beach & loved it. That being said, our experience with the hotel wasn't 100% positive. We had arranged for a taxi from the hotel to meet us at the border, but were met first by a scammer, who greeted us by name, so we thought he was the taxi driver. He eventually made clear that he wanted us to pay him $20 per person to "help us through the border". He was a friend of the taxi driver apparently, & they were working...
