Pictures do not give this house justice. It looks small but it's a lot bigger on the inside. High end appliances and bed too.A fantastic host.

Cute sta in quiet neighborhoods

House was great. All the amenities as listed. The train along the back gate was noisy but livable. We were aware of it and only there really to sleep so no complaints.

Exceptionally clean, cozy, perfect house equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay in San Marcos. The quality of the beds, towels and linens were wonderful! Great location, close to everywhere we wanted to go. Yes, there is a train behind the house, but it honestly did not bother us at all... it is a no horn zone, and it sounded more like a mild rumble. The neighborhood has quite a bit of renovations happening, but it would not deter me from staying here again. We felt safe and comfortable the entire week. Definitely highly recommend staying here!

Great Property!

This house was exactly what we needed while we were in town with our friends and dogs. The property was really clean, well stocked, and super close to everything. We appreciated the quality of linens, cooking utensils, and small details that made our stay perfect. The host was also very easy to get in touch with and checked in often. Yes, there’s a train behind the house, but it wasn’t a bother because it’s a no horn zone. The neighborhood is transitional, but we saw many of the neighbors and felt extremely safe there. It absolutely would not deter us from coming back. Overall, one of our better rental experiences!

We really enjoyed this house and the location. The house is full of conveniences (coffee, snacks, toiletries, etc) and a very well stocked kitchen. Lots of room. An excellent host who communicates well and cares about the customer experience.

Charming weekend stay

I stayed with my 2 dogs and the home looked small from the outside, but the inside was very roomy. TBH I spent a lot of time on the back porch with the dogs. They enjoyed the backyard and the resting on the porch. The temps were cool enough to stay out for extended periods of time. I would 100% recommend this stay.

I would give all 5 stars for this property if the neighborhood was a bit better. Some houses were nice and well kept but most were not. As our stay went on - we didn't have any issues with people in that area. Everyone was friendly! Just not what we are used to staying in. The location was excellent ! San Marcos has lots to do! Rio Vista Park is where we spent a lot of down time. Make sure to eat at Hat Creek Burger Company! Distance to Austin and San Antonio was great! There are train tracks basically right outside the backyard. They go through pretty fast. The listing states this as well, So we were aware. We were fine with it because my boys are obsessed with trains so they LOVED it. We had fans going when we slept and once we fell asleep - you had no idea if a train passed by or not. The house has been updated nicely! Great backyard for pets! Washer and dryer on site was a bonus !

Graduation weekend

We rented the VRBO to attend TXST graduation and this fit all of our needs. Exceptional house and great property! We like to eat meals as a family and this kitchen had all the essentials we needed to cook multiple meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinners). There was adequate parking for multiple vehicles. Cozy house at the end of the street with a large back patio. There is a train track right behind the house but didn’t bother us at all. Thank you again for a great stay!

Short Trip to San Marcus Mr & Mrs and Our Dogs

The house was very clean well organized with attention to detail . The house could sleep up to 8 people if needed . The deck in the backyard is really nice partially covered enjoyed it a lot .The backyard has a few small issues with the fence but overall ok . The neighborhood is in transition but near lots of eating places and the outlet shops . The railroad tracks are behind the house the owner was nice to point that out but it did not bother us most of the trains come by during the day . The owner is very quick to respond to questions or requests. Thanks for the stay !

Close to everything

Booked for 6 people, and there was plenty of leftover space for everyone. The house was even better than the listing described. Nothing negative to say, will book again for next San Marcos trip.

College Event

We drive down for a track meet. This place was perfect. Close to college. Rooms were nice and clean. Easy check in process. Easy drive to restaurants. I would stay here again.

just wish neighborhood was nicer

the owner helped us get in early when the code he had given us didn't work...had to phone him a couple of times but he was very helpful and seemed to fix the problem. linens, towels, kitchen appliances, coffee on hand was all very good. We only used one of the three bedrooms and the master closest to the train tracks....had to adjust to the loud noise but we were warned. If more of us had been there, owners should empty some of the dresser drawers and closets so you can put clothing away. The air and heat worked well and good hot water supply. We are simply not accustomed to residing in a neighborhood with 10% boarded up houses and I was a bit concerned so definitely locked up and took valuables. Owners very nice, but soory; I probably would not stay here again.

Presidents’ Day weekend

We stayed only one night, but would love to come back! The neighborhood is undergoing renovations, but this house is very nicely updated. It had everything we needed, and communication with the host was outstanding.

Wonderful Stay in San Marcos!!

Aragon is an exceptional host and his place is fantastic. It's one of the nicest places I've stayed in. The house is in an older neighborhood that is in a redevelopment phase and Aragon house has been re-done just beautifully. It is better than the pictures portray. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. If you are considering booking, please read his listing and take note that there is an active railway behind the house. They did not bother us at all but I love the sound of trains. All in all, a fabulous experience and we will be back!!! Thanks Aragon!!
