This Hotel is very good. *Read the rest of the review but in short I can definitely recommend it** It is a large property with a large staff. This requires excellent management and it shows because it runs very well. I add that it hosts many large events and the staff is able to do that and make guests feel great. I have only great things to say about the individuals taking care of the rooms and specially the staff at the breakfast area. All very attentive, polite and good at what they do. I would recommend it but I will give a few heads up. Parking can be tricky if there is a large event going on but there is always parking, you just might have to take a few more steps. A/C was excellent. TV was good with some cable channels but local TV was snowy. Alarm clock available and hangers, etc. This was good.The one complain I have about the room I had is the noise. I could hear when someone in an adjacent room was taking a shower or when they left a phone on a table and it was vibrating. I can in fact recommend this Hotel as it is in a very convenient location. GET THE ROOM/PACKAGE WITH BREAKFAST? It is excellent and they have an omelette station which was excellent and also a PUPUSA station (typical Salvadorean food) which will set a high standard for pushups. Excellent. There is a walk way to go to an adjacent building with a great food court as well. I still have to sort out a problem with my Hilton account and points but that is provably a website problem.

We loved this hotel and I am so happy that we chose this hotel. The hotel staff was so friendly and inviting when we checked in and the hotel and grounds were beautiful. I was surprised at the quality and the selection of the food at the hotel restaurant, it was outstanding. Overall this hotel was one of the best that I have stayed in while visiting the city of San Salvador .

Made me feel at home! Everyone was very courteous and strived to do their best. The hotel lies at the foot of an impressive volcano, outdoor dining was perfect, breakfast buffet quite impressive, especially the pupusas. Shout out to Roberto who made our meals a pleasure. Bedrooms are nice size, comfy beds, big bathrooms and most of all, sparkling clean. The one downside was the waiting times for the elevator but we did know beforehand one was going through maintenance. In short, great stay. El Salvador is not only beautiful, with great and varied cuisine, friendly people, but extremely safe. You definitely have a returning guest!

Property looks new and updated. Rooms are older, but adequate. The AC smells of dirty socks. It’s obviously old and needs cleaning. Staff was very friendly and the lobby floor is beautiful. Restaurant is onsite and nice.

Based on our visit to Hilton San Salvador, I rate this property a 4. Cons: There was carpet in the room, it looked dirty. The bathroom shower glass door was dirty. It didn’t have a mini fridge to keep your beverages cold. The picture frame in the room had water stain. The bathroom in the lobby area are extremely small. Only one elevator was working. Parking space that’s located in front of the hotel are small. They should provide free breakfast and shuttle to the airport, unfortunately this location charges a fee. Pros: We booked “Volcano View”, beautiful view. Geat customer service! Hotel is located in the city. Just beware there’s a lot of traffic. The lady that made the pupusas was excellent.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY
Check-in process was quick and welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. The view of the volcano from the room was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hilton has great employees
We were here for a conference. The hotel is very nice and clean but the best part is the employees who work here. Every person with with which we had contact was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. They were all very sweet and we enjoyed meeting them.

Very nice and welcoming hotel staff. Great service at the bar and at the cafe. The hotel felt very safe. The room was comfortable and super clean with nice views of the volcano. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back in the future.

One didn’t like was that I asked for double beds because I wanna spend time with friends I means joining the room to have time to talk and share tiem together but the manager didn’t let that happen that was so embarrassing for me that I had told my fiends go back they don’t let me even if I asked that when I booked it was really bad situation and experience I’m that place
