Charming apartment on top of a house

I stayed with my family for 3 nights, 2 teenage girls and a boy, who slept on the sofa bed. It is recently remodeled, on top of a house, so there’s a staircase going up and down every time you leave and come back. If you don’t have mobility issues, the stairs are no issue at all, but if you have a lot of suitcases, check in and out will be a challenge. There’s no air conditioning, but the house is in a mountain, where air circulated if you left the windows open. There’s also a few fans. If you sleep with the windows open to allow air to come in, when the sun comes out, you’ll have to wear masks to cover your eyes. There’s no noise problem at night, you’ll hear a car or two passing, but it’s a quiet neighborhood. The washer is tiny by American standards, don’t count on it as your laundry stop. The terrace is charming, we had wine and ham there one night that we were too tired to go out for dinner. It’s a beautiful place to end the day. The owners were super responsive, available and kind. San Sebastián is super close-by, but you definitely need a car to stay in this lovely apartment, as there aren’t restaurants or services within walking distance. I would stay there again.

Merveilleux séjour

L'appartement de James et sa compagne est très confortable, il offre la possibilité d'être au calme tout en étant à proximité de San Sebastian et des autres sites touristiques. Vue très agréable sur la verdure. Le jacuzzi et le barbecue sur la grande terrasse sont un vrai plus ! Nos hôtes ont été absolument charmants durant le séjour et de bons conseils. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Merci pour votre chaleureux accueil ! Julie et Gaël

San Sebastian sous la pluie
