"Excellent location, rooms in need of renovation. Bathroom and shower need serious upgrading. Breakfast choice extremely limited with worn out crockery. Dining area in need of renovation and replacement of seating."

"Warm welcome and checking in, excellent evening meal and breakfast. Staff were wonderful. To rate at excellent we would if the bed was better, a poor quality matress topper, hard pillows and we could feel the hard mattress. The room was a hard climb into the eaves. Will book a room on the main floor for next stay there. Buxton is a beatiful place and we only stayed for one night on this occasion."
