「The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5. The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite. 「We happened to stay during a heatwave. The room had no air conditioning, only a fan. The room was spacious but really needs an update. The corners of the bed and the duvet cover were torn. The wallpaper was also peeling. The bathroom renovation was acceptable. Breakfast was in buffet style but the refills were too slow—there was nothing left to eat and all the juices ran out.」
