Beautiful villa in Caniço

We stayed at Vivenda da Esquina for 1 week recently. Everything was very good about it especially the spectacular panoramic sea view. We did find the immediate neighbourhood quite noisy however. There is building work going on across the road on another property and we heard dogs barking through the night and a cockerel crowing from 5am each morning. Overall very good but remember to pack ear plugs!

Renovatie noodzakelijk

De villa ligt prachtig, mooi uitzicht, mooie tuin en zwembad. Binnen is een renovatie zeer noodzakelijk. Na een storm hadden we veel last van lekkage. MHM heeft het zeer goed opgelost met een upgrade naar een andere villa.

Top Lage, unverbaute Sicht auf den Atlantik, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufi, tolle Gastronomie nah

Tolles Anwesen, leider ist das Mobiliar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung, Garage im Objekt super groß, Garten und Pool fantastisch

Belle maison de famille spacieuse et très bien située avec une vue exceptionnelle

Maison très bien située , avec une superbe vue sur l océan .dans un quartier résidentiel calme.Proche de Funchal , de l aéroport,des visites, des supermarchés, des restaurants... La maison est agréable et spacieuse, 4 chambres dont une en sous sol ( nickel pour les ado mais pas pour jeunes enfants). Cuisine fonctionnelle très bien équipée, lave vaisselle et lave linge. Plusieurs salles de bain et toilettes.Piscine chauffée idéale( en avril) pour la fin de journée après les visites.jardin et grand garage(mais nous ne l'avons pas utilisé) Rajouter des chaises pour manger à l intérieur et manque table et chaises à l extérieur ( plusieurs étaient cassées) pour déjeuner ...dommage car la vue est top. L eau chaude pour les douches car le matin, nous avions juste un filet d eau tiède.

Great view

The view was great! The size was generous. Very comfortable beds. The furniture in living room was too sparse and not comfortable at all. The furniture outdoors was plentiful but not comfortable. At least one chair was cracked. None of my questions were responded to—neither on Airbnb nor by email.

Maison spacieuse idéalement située

La maison est située dans la meilleure région de l’ile, il y fait tout le temps beau. La maison est superbe et est très spacieuse. le jardin est magnifique, les photos ne sont pas trompeuses. Très proche de Funchal et à moins de 40 mn en voiture de toutes les visites de l’ile. Un grand merci à Fatima et à Mr Rodrigues pour son professionnalisme. Vous passerez d’excellentes vacances

Sehr schönes Haus mit Pool in toller Lage.

Dies Haus liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig aber dennoch ruhig und ist sehr geräumig. Der große Außenpool und die sehr schöne Aussicht sind perfekt. Dazu ein bunter und gepflegter Garten rundet das schöne Gesamtbild ab. Nutzung der vorhanden Garage mit direkten Hauszugang ist ebenfalls möglich. Einkaufmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Möbel sind teilweise schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und weisen Gebrauchsspuren auf.

Amazing Villa - Amazing Island

This villa is outstanding. We loved the space, both indoor and outdoor. Beautifully kept gardens set the scene for this villa. The views are to die for and we spent a lot of time with binoculars watching the dolphins just off the coast. The locations is great too, with the airport and Funchal only 10 minutes away. There is a great supermarket within two minutes drive. We also loved the underground garage with automatic door. A great place to keep the car nice and cool when not being used. Would we return to Villa Da Esquina? In a heartbeat! We are already starting to plan our next visit. Not a criticism, merely an observation. The kitchen is perhaps a little tired and could do with being modernised, but there is everything in it that you could want.
