Very nice but could be better

Overall a great place to stay with family. The reason for not giving a 5 star rating is that the beds are old. The mattress in the king suite is an old school box mattress that was so high off the floor I could barely get in bed and I’m 5’7”. There’s a mattress topper in the closet but it took up half the closet space and did not help with comfort. Not to mention I would need a step stool to get into bed. The upholstered furniture needs to go. It’s all off white and very dirty or stained. The carriage house is great but no closet space or drawers for your clothes. The mattress topper takes up the entire closet. There is no pool alarm but the mgt co. immediately installed one when I brought up my concern. The golf cart and pool are great additions to this house. There are a lot of indoor and outdoor games and pool and sand toys.

Cleanliness was an issue

The cleanliness of the home was disappointing. Upon arrival, there was leftover coffee and coffee grounds in the coffee maker, dirty drinking glasses in the cabinet, clumps of hair on multiple beds, and mold in one shower. Further, we had to purchase scrub brushes for the kitchen sink as there were none available and there were no dish towels offered. No hand soap offered in any of the bathrooms or kitchen. We also dealt with recurring fire ants in one bathroom shower throughout our stay. All of this should have been dealt with before our check in but was ignored. The house location is great, and the availability of beds and overall space was sufficient for a week stay for 6 adults, 6 children, and 1 infant. However, I would expect cleaner options elsewhere.

Watercolor Stay with Friends

This house was a great find for multiple friends visiting the area together. I was a bit worried with the house being further away from Watercolor amenities but having a golf cart helped a lot. The house was well stocked with everything you would need.

Amazing vacation experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Find Your Peace! The home was spotless when we checked in and is decorated tastefully with plenty of room and amenities for families. You really don't have to leave the house except to go to the beach!! We loved having our own private pool and the golf cart was so fun for riding around Watercolor. The gourmet kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and plenty of seating at the dining table and large island. The kids loved playing ping pong in the air conditioned garage and watching football on the TV in the screened in porch. We have vacationed in Santa Rosa Beach over the past 10 years and this was our best one yet! The management at SoWal Rentals are top-notch professionals!
