Pros: location across from the beach, nice pool on site, location relative to some bars and the marina area, wristband door keys. Maintence was very quick to fix our shower! Cons: location is far from the "popular" shops and restaurants, remodeled but still very cheap feeling, water to shower and facet gets so hot it would blister a child in seconds, pool chairs for use with this reservation are located at a seperate location which would be a 20 minute walk on the beach or hopping on the trolley and going down several blocks. No microwave. Very thin bedding. VERY noisy, even birds chirping out at night echo in this room because it's a shell with tiles. Construction is done at night in this area as well. Maintence came to fix the leaking shower which also echoed. We could not sleep at all... shower was just awful and the shampoo/conditioner was water. The price for value was just not there for us. This was over $400 a night for a sat-sun, not during spring break. Switched to something half the price and felt much more comfortable and instantly took an amazing shower to wash my hair.
Check in isn't until 4 on the dot.. can use the pool but no where to change.. we melted waiting.

Room was very clean and housekeeping came each day. We communicated with staff via text since there was not a staffed office at this location. They were always quick to respond and check in was do easy. They also checked in with us during our stay. The resort also had onsite parking which was very convenient. The location is very central to anywhere you would want to go on the island. We would definitely return.

We stayed in room 612. The room is nice and the location is solid. One little bathroom for the multiple bedrooms is not ideal. The shower soaked the floor every time creating a mess. Trash cans and trash littered our parking spot. Expected a little more.

We had the BEST stay at Pelican Post in Bradenton Beach! The location truly can’t be beat—just a short walk to all the bars, restaurants, and the beach, yet still tucked away enough to feel private and relaxing. The private pool and hot tub were such a luxury—honestly felt like our own little oasis after a day out. Everything was clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully set up to make the stay easy and comfortable. Whether you’re looking for a fun weekend with friends or a laid-back getaway, this place hits the mark. We loved being able to walk everywhere and then come back to unwind in peace. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

This is a great location to Bridge Street and the pier. the beach was just a short 3 minute walk across the street. Definitely visit the daiquiri bar rooftop and you must do a dolphin tour with the crew on the pier! Pool and hot tub were so serene and relaxing, very very clean. Our room was cleaned every day and we felt very comfortable.

Very cute spot 3 minute walk to the beach and even less to Bridge Street. Pool area was very nice; in the sun most of the day. If you’re looking for a place to basically sleep, this is your place. There was a decent sized frig. Main pitfall, the outside lights are very bright and the room doesn’t get very dark, and another mirror potentially full length would aide people trying to get ready as the bathroom is a tight space. Also, it’s on the backside of the Post Office and a restaurant, so early morning can be a bit noisy. With that being said, I’d definitely return.

The room was okay. Bathroom was tiny - horribly small for 4 people, let alone if you had 6. The room smelled upon entrance - we thought it was vomit, but they say the maintenance team had spilled some fluid from removing the mini fridge. Maintenance did show up and cleaned the entire floor, but it was not pleasant to walk into. Bad first impression. They mentioned a discount and then never mentioned it again!
