Runaway Bay is a 13 acre resort complex full of amenities for you and your family to enjoy while on your vacation. It is located in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island across the street from the beach.
Anna Maria Island is a Barrier Island located in the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint shops and local restaurants, with 7 miles of blue waters and white sandy beaches, are all part of the landscape here. It is a place where “Old Florida” charm can still be found and “Island Time” is a way of life. Flip flops are a part of stepping out and the speed limit never exceeds 35 mph on the Island.
Runaway Bay, here on the Island, has been voted the best resort by the Bradenton Herald for several years in a row. This vacation resort is located 100 yards from the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Runaway Bay has the largest heated pool on the Island and we are steps away from the sandy white beaches of Anna Maria Island. This resort features tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocce, a fitness center, BBQ grills throughout the property and a fishing pier located behind our condo, right over the bay. There is a free trolley that will take you all around the Island. Runaway Bay has a covered trolley stop located at the entrance to the resort.
Well maintained and full of amenities, this condo is located in a quiet section of the complex with a peaceful view of the bay to wake up to from the master bed. We are Condo # 238. Enjoy the views of the resort lagoon as well as a tranquil water fountain to listen to and watch from your private screened balcony. There is a picnic table and BBQ grill located directly behind the condo on the bay. Stand on the pier overlooking the bay while enjoying your morning cup of coffee.
The white sugary sand beach of Anna Maria Island is just across the street !!!
Our condo is CONTINUALLY maintained, updated and fully stocked. Updated quality furniture throughout the condo. Kitchen and both bathrooms have been COMPLETELY UPDATED and the entire unit has been freshly painted. NEW sleeper sofa, NEW Smart TVs and a NEW washer and dryer for our guests to enjoy. Towels, sheets, comforters, and even pillows are CONSTANTLY CHANGED out throughout the year to make sure that each and every one of our guests have a clean and comfortable home while staying as our guests.
Even though we employ a cleaning service, at least once every 5 - 6 weeks we travel to the condo in between the arrival of our guests, to do a thorough cleaning in nooks and crannies that are sometimes over looked. This attention to detail makes this unit one of the cleanest available. Mark and I work hard to make sure that our condo is truly a perfect vacation destination for you and your family.
Free WiFi and upgraded cable channels. Screened in balcony.We offer unlimited calls to the USA and Canada for our guests. The unit is fully furnished with a spacious and fully stocked kitchen. The master bedroom has a large walk in closet, a private bathroom and a comfortable king sized bed. The guest room has twin beds that can easily convert to a king bed if needed.The condo has a split bedroom plan for added privacy.
The living room has a pull out sofa bed, so the condo can sleep 6 comfortably. There is a full size washer and dryer in the condo. All linens, including beach towels, hair dryers, ironing board and start up supply of soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are provided .
The condo also has 3 TVs, DVD players, fishing poles and gear, tennis rackets, sand toys, books, magazines, puzzles, movies, board games, boogie boards, beach chairs and a beach umbrella, a cooler, floats and a beach cart for use while you stay there.
Mark and I also own and manage a condo on the World Famous Daytona Beach. We have built many relationships with our guests over the years as owners and have been blessed to have many of our guests return every year to stay in our Daytona condo again for their vacation.
