Great Playa Hermosa stay!!!

Just finished a quick 3 night stay in this absolutely fantastic house. The house was well equipped; with everything we needed and then some. The location was great, especially having the pool and beach both right out our front door. Loved being able to walk to numerous beachfront restaurants for lunch/dinner. House had more than enough room for the 4 of us, and the kids loved the 2 different themed bathrooms. Great house/location would absolutely stay here again!!

Another Awesome Stay Here!

Our second time staying in this beach condo unit and it was perfect—again! Zindis property management is awesome. We were granted early check in and late check out. The condo was clean and well stocked—plenty of extra blankets, sheets, towels and we appreciated the Vita Mixer. We love Sol y Mar (the views, the beach, the pool and hot tub are fantastic!) and wouldn’t think of staying any place else when visiting Playa Hermosa. Pura Vida!

Great location, beautiful beach, great condo

The Zindis agent, Angelica, met us and made checkin easy and quick. The unit was very well appointed and equipped, and the location absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the beach, pool and nearby restaurants to make it a very enjoyable time away.

Great location!

Great property and great location! a minute walk to the beach, felt safe everywhere in that area. Need a screen on slider to be able to feel and hear the ocean. Otherwise perfect for our group.

Absolutely wonderful

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here! We were traveling with our young kids and family friends. The condo was clean, comfortable and even better than I imagined. Traveling with young kids has its challenges and we really appreciated having a nice place that was also kid friendly. The best part was the large patio that went right out to the pool and ocean. There was also a multi lock system on the doors so we didn’t have to worry about the kids getting outside when we didn’t want them to. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and a little market. The property management was incredibly helpful and attentive. Leading up to our stay they were very communicative. And during our stay we reached out asking about a private boat tour that was good for kids and within an hour we had something booked. They made it so easy. I already want to go back!

Perfect!

We had a fabulous time in unit 2C of Sol y Mar. This was our second stay at this complex and this unit was even better than the first. Has nice updates that include newer living room furniture, white quartz kitchen counters with counter height breakfast bar and remodeled bathroom. The unit was spotless and well-stocked. Beds ver very firm but surprisingly we slept well. As reviewers have mentioned, the beachfront, poolside location convenience can’t be beat! We love this property and wish we could live here! Close proximity to the airport, Rincon de La Vieja rainforest and waterfalls as well as the Papagyo Gulf/beaches makes Playa Hermosa our favorite location. If we weren’t purchasing a property nearby we would be returning to Sol y Mar!

Great place!

Very nicely furnished and decorated condo! We met the owner who takes great pride in keeping her condo in great shape! Wonderful lady. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a very nice clean beach. Pool area is well kept and furnished. Plenty of beach toys available as well.

Great to be back

We had another enjoyable stay at Sol y Mar. This was our first time at this front unit. It was great to be so close to the pool and beach at the same time. The condo had everything we needed as a family and we really enjoyed our time there. The location was perfect, and walkable to everything we needed for our stay. Thank you again for another wonderful trip to Costa Rica.

Fabulous Family Vacation

My family had an amazing stay at Sol y Mar (2C) condominiums in Playa Hermosa! The house was immaculate, our house manager Gus was extremely responsive, and the location was unbeatable! The beautiful sandy beach is directly in front of the condo with many restaurants and bars in walking distance. The people are very friendly and helpful too. Don’t forget to visit the La Leona waterfall! You will not be disappointed! Pura Vida!

Clean. Well appointed, everything you need. Ground floor, right on the beach. Nice pool. Manager meet us at condo. Had trouble calling and texting them probably was our phones not their fault. Restaurants within walking distance but busy in the evening, need reservations. Very nice place!

Beautiful condo right on the beach in Playa Hermosa

Wow. What a great stay. This condo is perfect for a scenic and relaxing beach stay in Costa Rica. The condo has doors opening on the pool and a terrace opening on the beach. We enjoyed sunrise and sunsets which are especially scenic and stunning. The condo location is both very private but convenient. There are several restaurants within a 10-20 minute walk down the beach, and plenty of restaurants, shops, grocery within a very short drive. The condo was clean and well appointed inside, and each bedroom had towel animals on the beds as a fun welcome. The condo is gated and very secure with 24 hour security staff at the gate. The Zindi management company was amazing from the time we reserved through check-out. I really appreciated the additional communications two weeks prior and day of arrival to make that process smooth. Gus, our Zindi Management contact, actually took the effort to meet us at the condo. He walked through the amenities and even took the effort to walk us through a map of the local area pointing our restaurants, grocery, and gas to help orientate us to the area. This really set us up well for enjoying the area. The adventure desk reached out to help with any of our needs. Great service, great location, and great property.

Overall the place is beautiful and rooms, property are very nice. I had a problem with a $500 charge when they said I damaged a cooktop. I was not sure how this could have happened. But felt that I had no recourse after talking with VRBO. I did have two other similar experiences with restaurants and overcharging me in the area. One was restaurant at the end of the beach and the second was family restaurant just to the left of the property. So while I say the property is beautiful, I would be very careful and take pictures of any appliances or miscellaneous that they might add on to the charge. That seemed like something that happened to "gringos" in the area. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's just my bad luck. But I would do your own due diligence as well.

Amazing condo

We travel to Costa Rica every year. Most of the time staying 6 weeks at a time. By far!!! This was the best place we have ever stayed. Our family was blown away. Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay with very close access to beach

Our family enjoyed our time at this condo. The condo is well-located right by the beach. There is also a pool with a view of the beach. The condo was incredibly clean and well-equipped. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that we didn't like was that the property was listed as having a hot tub/whirlpool, but this didn't work the entire time we were there and isn't scheduled to be fixed until October.

Wonderful anniversary get away.

Overall the listing represents the property well. The location is good with close access to restaurants and the few other activities located in Playa Hermosa. The property was maintained well and the Zindis group manages things properly. The kitchen had many appliances and utensils, so if cooking on site is your thing you are covered. There also were plenty of beach items and towels if you preferred to soak your toes in the sand. If Playa Hermosa is our destination again, we would surely consider using this property and/or a Zindis group property.

A wonderful condo and location.

Quiet beach, great for privacy

All was great for location, including guarded gate for property. Very comfortable with outside space well furnished too. A few little quirks with kitchen appliances, which we figured out. Lots of beach towels available. 1 beach chair and several camp chairs provided for taking to the beach just steps away. Great grill on outdoor lanai. Bathrooms were spacious, plenty of dressers and closets in bedrooms to unpack luggage.
