Our room accommodated four persons comfortably with air conditioning and we were welcomed with a pot of tea and treats in our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the onsite onsen for a peaceful, relaxing and private experience. The location was convenient for those visiting Zenkoji Temple and the surrounding shops. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance."

"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. "We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome, friendly staff, and overall atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, just a block away from the train station, making it very easy to explore. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, and their attention to detail really stood out. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable place to stay!"

"Lovely, lovely place. Easily the most pleasant stay in our 4 week stay in Japan. Everything's designed to make feel you welcome and have an unforgettable experience. Staff is extremely helpful, gentle and welcoming. Breakfast buffet is something special, an experience worth living, honestly. For us the only downside is that our room felt very old, it could use a slight renovation, or maybe it's just meant to be like that. Also it's all very family friendly, and they have a shuttle service that takes you from and to Nagano station, which is really helpful. A lovely, lovely place indeed."
