"Hotel is located in a convenient area where there's a supermarket beside it and a sheltered multi storey carpark for travellers who are driving to park at a reasonable rate. Amenities are within 15 minutes walking distance. Hotel Breakfast selection is limited but hotel room is clean and well-equipped. Highly recommended!"

"Loved this traditional stay in Kyoto, the breakfast was great and the tub in the bathroom was so relaxing after a long day of walking. The only thing is if you don’t have a car rental it can be tricky planning your day based on the bus routes. The bus stop is only a minute walk away but if you miss a bus you may have to wait a while for the next one. Overall loved staying here!"

"The staff were so friendly and helpful, we loved the traditional breakfast, they were accommodating to my husband who can’t eat fish. They have a courtesy bus that takes you to Arashiyama which I didn’t know and so glad they suggested. The futons are hard but I got used to them. They also said their onsen is tattoo friendly. But most of the place is in such a spectacular forest it was so pretty in the late autumn I will definitely be going back. "
