Amber Cottage is a luxury self-catering holiday cottage in Saundersfoot located just a 5 - 10-minute walk from Saundersfoot's award winning beach and picturesque harbour, from where boat trips around the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast depart daily during the summer months.


Saundersfoot is filled with many delightful cafes, shops, restaurants and traditional pubs where you can take in the sights and soak up the atmosphere. Take a visit to the Welcome and Heritage Centre where you can find out about events and activities taking place throughout the year or buy tickets to climb aboard the Coastal Schooner in the historic harbour.


This exclusive self-catering holiday cottage is all on one level and is furnished to the highest standard with an exceptional finish.


Kitchen:


Through the entrance hall is the stylish kitchen with seating area and large breakfast bar, equipped with everything you will need including fridge freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and gas hob. The large windows face out towards Saundersfoot with views of the sea and village.


Lounge/Dining Room:


The kitchen leads through to the open plan lounge/dining area which benefits from Sky TV with Home Cinema System and a cosy log burner. The large patio doors offer more spectacular views. Step out on to the decked balcony with patio area, enclosed garden with BBQ, table and chairs and a luxury hot tub - perfect for ultimate relaxation whilst enjoying the exceptional views.


Snug:


Off the lounge is a 'snug' sitting room with two comfortable sofas and Free View TV.


This self-catering cottage sleeps 8 people in four double bedrooms with ample storage facilities.


Master Bedroom & En suite:


The en-suite master bedroom with super king-sized bed benefits from more views of the Pembrokeshire coast and bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and wash hand basin.


Second Bedroom:


The second bedroom offers versatile sleeping arrangements with a zip and link that can be used as a super king-sized bed or two single beds.


Third Bedroom:


Bedroom three offers comfortable accommodation with a king-sized bed.


Fourth Bedroom:


The fourth bedroom has a double bed, also with views over the Pembrokeshire countryside.


All beds are made up for your arrival with luxury white Egyptian cotton sheets and towels are provided.


Main Bathroom:


The family bathroom comprises a luxury bath suite consisting of shower over bath, toilet and wash hand basin.


The property also has parking for up to 6 cars, Wi-fi, central heating and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.


Please bring your own towels for use with the hot tub.


This self-catering cottage is located next door to Oaktree Lodge and the two cottages can be rented together for larger families wishing to holiday together.


Mid-week and weekend breaks are available outside of peak season and at other times where there is late availability.


Please note that a returnable good housekeeping and damage deposit of £200.00 is required (£400 for non-family bookings, i.e. hen/stag parties, birthday parties).


Check-in is from 4pm on day of arrival.

Whether pets are accepted (and the number of pets accepted) is displayed within the property description. No other pets are permitted in the property, this includes external areas of the property.

Terms and Conditions of Hire.

Bookings of all holiday accommodation whether made by telephone, e-mail, in person, in writing or over the internet are accepted by Puffin Cottage Holidays acting as the agent on behalf of the Owner. The contract to occupy the property is between you and the owner.

By making any booking with us, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to comply with and be bound by them.

These booking terms and conditions include a number of defined terms as follows:

"Booking" means the legally binding reservation for use of the property, with a specified start and end date.
"Contract of Hire" The legally binding contract between the Hirer and the Owner
"Deposit" means a deposit of 20% of the total holiday accommodation cost (which includes any "extras" selected at the time of booking).
"Balance" means the balance of the Total Charges payable by you after payment of the Deposit as set out in paragraph 4.
"Website" means the booking website.
"Lead Hirer" means the person who has booked the accommodation.
"Guest" means you and each person staying in the property with you.
"Owner" means the owner of the Property you book which is the subject of the Contract of Hire. We do not own the properties on our website.
"Agent" means Puffin Cottage Holidays.
"Property" and "Properties" means the holiday property you book or enquire about through us.
"You" means the lead person making a booking through us.
When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every Hirer understands, agrees and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as any breach may result in the Owner (or their representative) refusing to allow you and your guests to enter and stay at the property or requiring you and your guests to leave the property before the end of the holiday period without any compensation or refund.

1. Contract and Booking
We act as agents for the Owner. When you make a Booking through us the holiday let contract in respect of the Property is always between you and the Owner. As Agents we accept no responsibility for an injury or damage caused as a result of the Contract.

Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under 21 years of age.

The Lead Hirer must be one of the Guests staying at the property and shall not part with possession of the property or share it, except with other Guests named on the booking form.

The Properties are not intended to be reserved for the purposes of parties and group bookings, including for stag, hen dos and birthdays, may not be allowed unless explicitly agreed with the Owner. In these circumstances the Owner may impose special requirements (including the possible requirement for, but not limited to, an extra damage deposit payment)

No Bookings are confirmed until the Deposit (or Balance and Deposit if the holiday is less than 8 weeks away) is received and written confirmation of its receipt has been sent.

Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed by you, unless agreed by the Owner, or by us on the Owner's behalf. If we or the Owner agree to make requested changes to your booking (for example, amending the date or Hirer) you will be required to pay £25 amendment fee per change.

2. Booking Fees
A booking fee of £24.00 is payable when making a booking. This is included in the displayed price of the holiday.

3. Deposits and Balance Payments
Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday a deposit of 20% of the total due will be paid when booking to secure the booking. The balance will be paid 8 weeks prior to your holiday. If you make a booking within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you will be required to pay for the holiday in full at the time of booking to secure the booking. In the event that the balance payment is not received by the required date, Puffin Cottage Holidays reserves the right (on behalf of the Owner) to cancel the booking and will be under no obligation to refund any deposits previously paid.

The booking fee and Deposit are non-refundable unless we are unable to accept the booking on behalf of the Owner, or the Property is unavailable at the time of the holiday

4. Damage Deposits
Some properties may require damage deposits for all bookings made. If this is required, it will be recorded in the Property Description. Any damage deposit will be due along with the final balance payment, 8 weeks prior to your holiday, or, where the booking is made within 8 weeks of your holiday, the damage deposit must be paid in full at the time of booking. The damage deposit may be held by Puffin Cottage Holidays on behalf of the Owner. Whilst we will use our reasonable endeavours to liaise between the Owner and the lead Hirer, any disputed claims must be settled between the Owner and the lead Hirer and Puffin Cottage Holidays are not liable for any disputed claims.

5. Availability
The Contract of Hire is made on the understanding that the property and its facilities as published will be available for the dates stated. In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events outside the Owners control the lead Hirer will be notified as soon as possible. The lead Hirer shall be offered alternative dates or, at the Owners discretion, a refund but will have no further claims against the Owner or Puffin Cottage Holidays. Puffin Cottage Holidays will not be responsible to pay any compensation or expenses as a consequence of a Property not being available in these cases. The booking fee will be non-refundable in these circumstances as we will have carried out our services for this to you at the point of booking.

6. Guest Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation from the lead Hirer, the deposit and booking fee will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation after payment of the balance every effort will be made to relet the property. If such reletting is possible the balance or that part thereof that is paid by another client and recouped via replacement booking will be repaid (less the deposit and booking fee).

7. Hirers' Responsibilities

Great accommodation! Lovely sea side village

We (3 adults, 5 kids) stayed during Feb half term for a week and the property was brilliant. Very clean on arrival with plenty of space for everyone. The garden is huge which the kids loved. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Location is just up the road from the sandy beach, less than 5 minute walk. There was also ample shops and pubs close bye. Overall a great weeks holiday

We had a truly enjoyable stay at Amber Cottage for my partner’s 40th, we stayed with our friends. Location was fantastic, just a short walk into the village with a beautiful coastline and local pubs and shops. All the locals were so friendly. Would definitely recommend!
