There was easy access to the beach, but we also enjoyed spending time in the Sound kayaking and paddle boarding. Wonderful and responsive management company and owner.

The rental company was wonderful to work with and everything worked perfect! The house had everything we needed and I loved the hummingbirds, tiny lizards and beautiful birds that we saw ever day. We snorkeled every day all around the island and found beautiful sand dollars, sea shells and sea biscuits everywhere. We saw a Manta Ray, Spotted Eagle Rays, a couple of Nurse Sharks and many beautiful fish. A dream come true for sure❤️

The house was spotless and very well stocked. There is everything you would need on a beach vacation...Sunscreen, bug spray, aloe, towels...the list goes on. The management was very attentive and wanted to make sure we were more than comfortable. We will be returning to this home for years to come. The only complaint we had was that we didn't get to stay long enough. ;)

Utopia is awesome!

The grounds are nicely landscaped with flowers everywhere you look. We enjoyed spending time in the pool where we were able to watch humming birds, butterflies and blue herons all around us, in close proximity. Amazing! Paddle boarding at West Beach was tons of fun for us newbies. We also enjoyed the pickle ball court at the Club. Topping off the whole experience was a very responsive caretaker, Mack, and wonderful Pam at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals. Pam is incredibly knowledgeable about all things Eleuthera. She’s an amazing resource and we appreciated the literature she shared with us ahead of our visit, as well as her ongoing support throughout our trip.

Need Lowered Expectations

Reviewer Comments: Somewhat disappointed - Nice location and amenities - expected a nicely remodeled/updated house - arrived to an older house that appears to have been repainted inside with some upgrades - had electrical problems (breakers kept popping,guests getting shocked,low water pressure, hot/cold water switched etc.) that being said, we enjoyed the quick walk to an amazing beach, lounging at the pool, paddling in the sound and Windermere Club.

Island paradise found - Utopia has it all!

Utopia has a gorgeous pool and sits on an island between the Atlantic (with pink sand beaches) and the sound which is an estuary for marine life (turtles, baby sharks, dolphins, stingray, puffer fish, bone fish, and a million other species.) There are also various bird species on land. The house is positioned to take in and enjoy the wildlife and all things Windermere. The house is surrounded by lush gardens. It’s truly a place like nowhere else. The house is cozy and comfortable but also sleek and modern with the right amount of nautical touches. Utopia is organized and well stocked. Anything you could want or need is available for you. The house staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They made us feel very taken care of during our stay. Utopia is the perfect home base for exploring Eleuthera. We can’t wait to visit again!

Perfect.

Our stay at Utopia House was wonderful. This house is perfectly situated on a low bluff overlooking both the Savannah Sound and the Atlantic Ocean, which is only a few steps away. The house was clean and breezy, and very well appointed, especially the kitchen! The garden is charming and the pool area is lush and nicely secluded. Mack is an excellent caretaker who made sure we had everything we needed. The only drawback is the no-see-ums. They will feast on you so bring plenty of repellent!

The house manager was there to help us with whatever we needed with a smile. On the rare occasion we lost power, the generator kicked in immediately to provide power. The views from the house are stunning, with both views of the sound and the ocean, and a great breeze day long. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
