「The Schenectady county fair was being held right outside the hotel. It was a disaster to get into the hotel parking lot because of road closures for the fair. The music was extremely loud in the rooms until 10:30 PM. Toms of people just lingering, smoking pot in the parking lot and entrance, The hosts were great, the rooms and grounds were clean but very old and worn. 「It is a small hotel - 4 floors - and is in need of better maintenance. Wallpaper was peeling in our room and one of the USB bedside ports was broken/useless. Staff didn't clean our room the first day. It was an OK stay but nothing to write home about. It is not a bad place to stay but don't expect world-class accommodations. Grounds were well maintained.」

It is historic and beautiful and awesome staff. There is so much to marvel over in this Inn. There is a lovely café on site in the rear lobby that has delicious coffees and bagels.」
