“I’ve stayed here a few times over the years, so it’s not really that bad, the pool is never usable, the breakfast is a joke, the rooms are worn and the bathroom is especially worn out. Why do I stay there? Price, convenience and the staff. The place is right off the highway, quiet and safe feeling, the price is the best I could find for Kentucky Derby week, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve paid a lot more for hotels that were far worse, it isn’t the Hilton, but the television works,……

“We stayed at April's cabin for a local mom's weekend getaway. The living room/kitchen is where we spent most of our time. There were throw blankets and a game cabinet with lots of fun options. It's a home away from home.The outdoor temperatures were abnormally frigid for the area, and we choose not to enjoy the amazing outdoor and garage game room amenities. The outdoor firepit was functional and would have been a wonderful place to chill under typical Henryville evenings; and the cute……

“The location on the hill is great as we had a room that looked out over the downtown and hills of KY. We really enjoyed our balcony. The room was clean but the entire hotel is VERY dated. The bed was a 7 out of 10 for comfortability but the pillows were not good. Breakfast was average for continental. Our daughter was not feeling well the morning we were supposed to check out and I asked the lady at the desk in the morning if there was a possibility of having 1 extra hour before check out and……

“This is a perfect place for 2 people for a visit in Madison, IN. Contactless check-in/check-out was seamless, the room was spotless, parking was available right in front of the building and close to all Madison has to offer. It is similar to a small studio apartment, meaning it does not have a separate bedroom, but is divided by the faux fireplace. One thing we would have liked in the kitchenette would have been a toaster. Other than that, it had what we needed(coffee, microwave, smaller……

“If you love the unusual, this is your place! Great “castle” experience and the beauty of southern Indiana horse country! Unique venue close to all the attractions Louisville, KY has to offer and a beautiful, pastoral setting too. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcomed and at home. Highly recommended. ”
