"A grade II listed property in a historical part of Shepton Mallet. Took time to read up on the area, would recommend everyone to do that, very interesting. Comfortable bed, clean room and great hosts. Some noise from the road adjacent to the Inn, not a deal breaker. Would I stay here again Yes. "

The only downside (and it was quite a downside) is that our room was above the kitchen and the door was on an automatic closer which meant it slammed every time it shut. And this started at about 7.00 in the morning...."

"It was a great stop for us in our walk in the area . Staff very kind and friendly , food tasty (we had the homemade curry ) . Drinks were also good we had a draught beer and cider. It’s lovely to find people taking on a business and improving it . We didn’t use it but there is a large car park and garden at the rear "

"Absolutely beautiful B B run by great owners, who serve up a the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Local pubs are amazing selling great food also! All the shops you will need and a beautiful 10 minute walk up a hill behind the B B to take in the view of the surrounding area. Perfect Stay."

"We really enjoyed meeting Janine and Mark (and Benji of course!) They are super hosts, so helpful and friendly and we felt very relaxed during our stay. The Room in the Garden is stunning, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. My wife has some mobility issues and she found it very accessible, only a couple of steps to reach the room and a small step up to the large shower area. We cannot recommend this accomodation highly enough and we will certainly book...
