The B&B offered amazing views in a very quiet neighborhood! We were inly there for one night, but enjoyed a comfortable evening in a very charming B&B. The living room was welcoming and available to guests. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning and had wonderful conversations with the staff. Would stay again!

First of all the view is gorgeous! The owners and staff were welcoming, informative, gracious, and just great people! The place was clean, comfortable, quiet. Rooms were same with comfortable bed, bath, and view that you just could not get enough of! The breakfasts were gourmet and filling. Snacks and drinks available 24 hours. Living room and dining room made you feel at home and provided lots of reading material. They also have movies. We just loved it and will be back!

Room was clean and the view was amazing. The rooms could use updating. We stayed in the mariposa and the room was a hodge podge of mismatched furniture. I enjoyed breakfast but my husband needed more basic options. Our servers every morning were very good! We were over charged for our stay but they did return the over charge.

Every room feels private and peaceful, with balconies that open to endless desert beauty. The location is ideal.. close enough to everything yet far enough to feel secluded and quiet. The staff are exceptional. They greet you like family and anticipate every need without being intrusive. Their attention to detail makes the stay effortless and comfortable. From warm welcomes to thoughtful recommendations for dining and sightseeing, the hospitality feels personal and genuine. The homemade breakfast is extraordinary. Every dish is fresh, beautifully prepared, and served with care. The ingredients are high quality, and the menu changes daily, so each morning feels special. Sitting at the breakfast table overlooking the red rocks with coffee in hand is an experience you’ll remember. I rarely return to the same place twice, but Penrose is different. It leaves a lasting impression. The combination of breathtaking views, outstanding service, and authentic warmth makes it a place worth revisiting. When I return to Sedona, it will be to stay at the Penrose again.

Amazing stay among the Red Rocks

We have stayed at many hotels in the Sedona area, and this was by far our favorite. A beautiful bed and breakfast tucked in a nice quiet neighborhood against the backdrop of the red rock formations. The house was so beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and gourmet. It was my birthday and they even made me a special cake with a candle !! A 10 in my book!! We will return often.

I’d highly recommend to all!

The Penrose B&B was a perfect, quiet, warm and inviting place to stay away from the busy commercial hotel/motel center of Sedona. Located in a neighborhood not far from the Bell rock trailhead, it was wonderful to come “home” to this place after an all-day hike! Not to mention the complimentary “snacks and beverages” and gourmet breakfast every morning. If you’re looking for a quaint B&B in the traditional sense of “warm hospitality”, this is it! I stayed in the Kokopelli room.

Wonderful staff and excellent service. Wendy was so kind and made the most delicious breakfasts served on the patio each morning. Ellen was equally as wonderful. Both gave us great history and tips where to go and what to see. The views are absolutely incredible of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. Sunrise views are gorgeous from the balcony. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for making us feel at home n your beautiful home.

We had a wonderful stay at the Penrose B&B for our anniversary. It is situated a few miles south of Sedona, away from high traffic and crowds. We found it very convenient to go to/from Sedona while having a quiet place to recuperate from hikes. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom, and a great view. The breakfasts were terrific, different every day, and seemed amenable to food allergies/preferences. And finally, the staff were all wonderful: from checking us in and giving us a lay of the land, to offering advice on things to try, to serving breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to want us to have a great stay. Highly recommended and we would come back.
