"ツインに娘と泊まりました。 建物は年季が入っていると思うのですが、水回りはリフォームされてるみたいで問題なし。 立地も駅から近いし海遊館まで徒歩で行けるので、とても便利です。 駐車場代が安く、宿泊料もかなりお値打ちなのでまた利用したいと思います。 小型犬2匹お出迎えしてくれるので、娘は喜んでいましたが、犬が苦手な人はビックリしちゃうかもしれません。"

Very quiet neighbourhood, with all the major attractions a bus ride away. I hope to visit again soon. "

"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

"ホテルの顔である玄関の自動ドアの電源が切れてて、手動を強要してる。 Wifiが使えるか聞いたら、ロビー近くしか使えないといわれた。にも拘わらず部屋にランケーブルも無ければ、言わないと貸してくれない。大荷物持ってるのに階段でどうぞ！と言われた。（エレベーターもあるのに） 部屋の鍵が解りにくいのに説明なし。（鍵を回しながらドアを押さないと開かない）ホテルの門限23時。 歴史的には有名な地である点と川の中州に建てられたホテルなので景色は良いけど、何もなくて不便だった… フロントも居たり居なかったり、呼び鈴を押すタイプ。 愛想は悪くなかったけど、シルバー人材センターのアルバイトって感じだった。 掃除はよくされてたけど、施設は古く快適とはいいがたかった… 眺望は良かったけど、リピートはしないな。"

"We spent two nights at the Izuyasu and greatly enjoyed our stay. This is a traditional inn, which has been owned by the same family for seven generations. They were extremely hospitable and have a combination of family and English-speaking staff running the inn. The owner took the time to share with us the history of the inn and the significance of some of the decorations, which we very much appreciated. "The facilities are spotless and comfortable. Really quite a fine. If the there is any negatives, it would be the proximity to a line to get to Kyoto Station. Easy bus line to Gion. I would book again."
