“Too small for a 4p family….”

“Perfect location for a family get-together. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped and the grounds are beautiful. Kerith and Daryl were excellent hosts.”

“Lovely decor, had a mix of modern and rustic which was lovely and some of the stone wall original features. It had everything you need, was warm and comfy. Beds were comfy and the shower was really good too. Lovely touch leaving little gift for the dogs, and the communication with the host was very good. We would rebook if we return to the area!”

“Everything was perfect and amazing thank you so much definitely will go again”

“Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush.”

“Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The……

“This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……

“Unbelievable apartment!!! What a find, from the moment I found The Rockefeller on Expedia to arrival through to the end of the stay everything was the best!! Not going to gointo much detail as wouldn’t want to ruin anybody else’s experience but I will say you won’t be disappointed, everything about the apartment is funky, design led and luxurious from the furnishings to the artwork and even the kitchen and bathroom are of the highest spec. Centrally located with ample parking pretty much……

“We had a lovely stay in apartment eight. Which is always very spic and span. It’s disabled friendly, which is I have balance problems suits me well. The walk in shower was especially helpful. We enjoyed a walk out and a couple of cycles. The community orchard on the way was fascinating. Sadly you can’t book the weather, but enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. We would thoroughly recommend Howgills Appartments.”

“A lovely apartment in a great location; ideal for the eateries, bars and shops in Windermere village. The flat was comfortable with a central living area that is ideal for relaxing and dining. The bedrooms are a good size with comfy double beds and plenty of storage space.”

“Nice apartment (Big), perfect location. Clean and tidy Parking is confusing as theres a space for no.2 but we're told have to move by 9:30?”

“The fantastic Howgills Apartments are in the quiet, calm and delightful Bainbridge Road, at just 2 minutes' walk from the town centre of Sedbergh. The apartments are in excellent condition, very comfortable, warm and inviting and come furnished with everything you could wish for, including tea and coffee supplies. The sofas are comfortable, and great for relaxing with a TV provided and there's an excellent kitchen area with large fridge and freezer so you can even "cook at home", buying fresh……
