Location on the beach is great. I have come to this property for about 20 years . It has changed profoundly and its hugely disappointing. The food is really poor quality. Some of the staff are jaded and not pleasent Guests are encouraged to use the room safes now offered in every room.the place is not clean , dirty plates left in open air hallways for days as well as empty beer bottles. We were also charged twice for a room , some sort of double booking error , sorry nothing anyone can do - no way to call or access Expedia /Hotel .com . The stay was super stressful and double the cost. It was sad and disappointing - My brother and sister in law joined us and cut their trip short forfiting a full refund for the days cancelled , they did not feel safe staying. I will not return to the Bali Sani - very sad for the longtime loyal staff who do remain under what seems to be shabby management .

Old dirty mattress that should have been thrown out years ago. Would have been a great venue in its hey day but needs substantial investment if they want a sustainable operation. Literally operating on the smell of an oily rag. Luckily I was in the fortunate position to get alternative accommodation after the second night of my stay.
