Area was okay. Nothing special. Limited place to eat. Bus transportation is probably 7 to 10 mins away from the hotel. The hotel is clean. However the sink in our room was leaking. I requested a service to fix it but unfortunately, nothing was done. They never fix the leak. We didn’t call it again coz we came back at the hotel around 1am already.

The rooms were extremely dirty, especially in the bathroom. There were black mold on the wall and a very uncomfortable shower situation. There was barely any space to walk around the room and no space to even open our luggage to grab our stuff. So stuffed and cramped and there were only two of us. It was nice to have a view of the Namsan tower but the dirtiness and lack of space made the experience very frustrating.

Very quiet Hotel in downtown Seoul, easy to get to any locations. It’s like an apartment other than regular hotel. The room has a washing machine that allows me wash my clothes every day. I definitely will recommend it to anyone who wants affordable price and quality travel in central Seoul.

Great location but…
You are steps from BIFF square, close to the Jagalchi fish market, and two metro stations. Great location with tons of food options. Self check-in was easy but be aware that there is no cleaning service. Not a big deal for short stays, however, the mattress was covered in plastic which made sleeping on it uncomfortable and noisy. It also didn’t “breathe” properly because of this and got extremely hot and the sheets started smelling unfresh. I am not one to complain about beds at hotels but honestly this was the worst one I’ve ever slept on. Good economical choice with a great location but it didn’t do it for me.

I stayed here for a week and a half, the staff was lovely and super helpful! My only complaint is that the blankets had stains on it but aside from that everything was great! I came back once and my clothes were nicely folded on the bed and they helped me order food delivery to my room so it's safe to say they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. The bed is a bit stiff but still okay. There are 2 7/11s on the left side of the hotel around 30 metres. I had read some comments that at night its dark...thats not true. It isnt pitch black, just shops closed. We walked back to hotel at even 12am. Very safe. Only thing we didnt like was its a bit far from the Subway lines you have to do some walking.

Convenience location near to subway
The room is much smaller than what it shown on website; feel very congested. The front desk staffs in the morning shift are much friendly and helpful (especially the ladies). As experienced once on the first night when we returned to hotel from shopping; asking assistance from front desk staff (a male staff) where can we get the "T-money" card for subway, all he can answered us is "I don't know" and that's it! We only managed to get the cards on the 3rd day when we travelled to the central via subway for site seeing from a vending machine at the station.

Comfortable
It was a comfortable stayed. However, some inconsistent in daily replenish of housekeeping service. We booked twin bed room but the room amenities only for one person instead of two, such as bath towels. Not such a big deal when call to request additional towels it was delivered promptly. But on the second day, same thing happened after housekeepi service which they again replenish only for one person. This was getting annoying to repeat myself again calling for additional towels. Other than that the hotel staff were helpful.

Helpful and friendly staff
It was our first trip to Korea and the smiling helpful reception staff at the hotel were a great introduction for us. "Efficiency"is the word for all our dealings with them. Example: I really needed to call Spain to change a flight booking. In no time Blaire was on top of it, helped make it happen, them got the help she needed to determine the price of my call. I highly recommend staying here and if I ever go back to Seoul, I'd love to visit them again.

Overall great experience, close to Line 2 (Euljiro 4-ga) station and Line 4 & 5 (Dongdaemun History & Culture park) station. Nearby hotel there's an independent coffee shop, even the franchise Ediya Coffee across the street is not bad. Bought a lot from Junbu market nearby for souvenir. The airport limousine stop is a bit tricky for first timer to the area, but people knows where it is and will show you how to get to your hotel/accommodation. People in this area are generally friendly. The staff at the hotel are friendly as well, making the experience a very pleasant one. Plus point is that the hotel room comes with a washing machine, and you can buy the liquid detergent nearby convenient stores or from Daiso in smaller quantity. Another big plus point is the level of cleanliness. Having stayed at various types of hotels I have to say The Morning Sky Hotel's cleanliness standard is superb, given it's a 2-star hotel (better than most 3-star hotels actually). Will recommend.

It was a 5 min walk from the nearest metro or airport limo bus stop, 10 min walk from the famous shopping district myeong dong. The hotel is apartment type, very quiet and there are two 7-11s downstairs by the corner if u need any drink or snack. yes the bathroom is joint with shower, but if you are alone or with two you can still try to minimize the blast lol. This place is great in terms of location, i can aee namsan tower from my window!!! I will definitely stat there again. If you are on budget, this would be a good choice

Not very close to the subway
Arrived Seoul very early in the morning and reached the hotel at around 10:00am. Couldn't check in until 02:00pm. Overall hotel room is pretty big with washer. If you plan for a business trip, this hotel will be an excellent choice. Not very close to the subway though, about 10 mins walking not a pleasant experience especially during winter time.

Excellent location.
The staff were friendly and a great location. The room has a washing machine but no crockery or cutlery so no really semi contained apartment. Besides this excellent place to stay. I do wish people did not smoke when the say "no smoking".

Nice hotel that was in a good location
This is a good hotel, in a good location near a market and quite a few food locations. The staff was very helpful and always willing to do their best to be accommodating. However, the rooms are a little smaller than they appear in the pictures and I believe there was some construction occurring on the building that we were not informed of. This meant there was "construction" noises often during the morning hours. Other than that, this is a good hotel in a good location.

As my flight was in the early morning, I arrived to hotel at 10 AM. I could do early check-in with 30,000 KRW which seemed convenient and flexible. The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. Also, the location is great as it is close to the airport bus stop (about 5 minute walk), subway station ('2' line which is a loop line that can link to the most of the famous places in Seoul), DongDaeMun market (about 10-15 minute walk), MyeongDong and Namdaemun with 30 minute walk, etc. The cleaning staff did a good job every day.

this hotel LIES.... CHEAT.... AND STEAL
False advertisement: no dryer, no cheap airport bus, no wifi- have to use public wifi, they will put you in a small room( Make sure you show them pictures online and they demand them to give you the right room that you pay for), no AC (unless you bug them, then they give you the remote for the AC), no free water bottle( suppose to get 2 per day for everyday you stay, we got 2 bottles for the whole 13 days we stayed), no toilet paper( we got 2 rolls for 13 days)no tissues Stealing- steal Tommy Hilfiger pants, then deny it, I talked to 2 different people at the front desk and still pretend not to know and took no action Sloppy and rude house cleaning, dirty bed sheets and covers We wanted to stayed at a place with washer/ dryer, easy access to airport shuttle and clean rooms, we did not get any of that. Cheapest mattress ever for a hotel that stated its premium room and premium services,and smelly water in the bathroom.A lot of machinery moving around, not save for walking around the neighborhood. If I could give zero star I will. I did a lot of research before staying here, do not trust the high rating reviews. The rate was $70 per night, for the services and cheap stuff we got from the hotel, we could have stay at a hostel for about $15 per night not $70. Do not waste your money here!

Thank you for your opinion first but we would like to declare that all the room has a little bit difference and we already change the room you want cause you strongly desire that. About the water and towel, our maid would definitely refill it everyday except you reject the cleaning that day. And our maid definitely won't steal anything from our guest and we haven't got any notification about this issue actually.

This area was close from our first visit to Korea. This hotel have more info to how to get there,where to go for subway than previous stay. Other reviews had an issue with English barrier but I went to front desk every day of visit and even with different people at front desk they was still perfect interaction. The room is a lot smaller than the picture has and there is no separation between shower and toilet which could be an issue to some. Special thanks to Blair. She responded to emails how to get to hotel which saved money,limo bus vs. taxi, and that money saved we used for subway and awesome meal across from hotel,dont know name but it's first BBQ restaurant next to seafood market. It's been open since 1975 and it was amazing!!! Thanks again Blair for all your info and thank you Morning Sky!!!

It's was a great stay! Changed towels everyday and hasn't a washing machine and Washington powder for us to get our clothes washed! And it's nearby a market with great snacks and food!

Good place to stay, 5 min walk to train station
Looks like in the pictures. Nice view from our hotel room. Can take the bus directly from the Incheon Airport- get off from Hotel Biz bus stop. We stayed 4 nights and booked 2 rooms - Sep 14-17. It was Thanksgiving holidays in Korea. During that time we noticed that some of the entrance fees to tourist places like Lotte World were either half price or free, which was a good surprise for us. In one of the rooms the air conditioner was not that cool. Had soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Our welcome gift was 2 bottles of water in each room. Front desk was very helpful when we had questions about sightseeing or about the airport bus. They understood basic English. Right outside the hotel there is a children's playground and close by there is a 7/11. There is a cafe to the right of the hotel.

Nice hotel but hard to find
The hotel is clean and the employee are polite. They help my family and I order food. The location of the hotel is hard to find so take a taxi there. I took the subway so it took awhile to find the entry to the hotel. Restaurants are nearby but you do have to walk about half a mile. There are 2 small 7 Eleven near the hotel. The subway is about a mile awhile. Please note there is no shuttle from or to the hotel. Some website may say they do.

Overall, a nice hotel
Very close to main subway and bus stations, room was good for the price, the only thing is the location, its sorroundings are not so clean and there's always like a fish smell.. but this wouldn't be the hotel's responsibility, the street where it is located is not cleaned as it should be. But overall, it is nice for the price.

A nice hotel in the center of Seoul
The hotel is centrally located and 5 minute walk to #2 subway. The staff are friendly and speak English and Chinese, always helpful. Power outlet is Germany style, US plug will not fit, you can borrow adapter in front desk. Room is equipped with washer and oven, because the control dials are removed, oven is not usable. Housekeeper cleaned room and made bed daily.

Not a great area for tourists.
Beds were not comfortable at all. The area is industrial and hard to navigate. There are not many restaurant options within walking distance.

The stay at this hotel was fantastic. It has all the necessary items for a long stay. Location wise was excellent, its near to dongdaemun and myeongdong. Those that enjoy shopping at this 2 location will love it. Cons: The room was a bit small for 2 people staying in it. Conclusion, this hotel is close to being perfect except for its room size and i will be staying at this hotel again if i visit seoul again. Will recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives.

Very basic hotel, poorly situated.
There was nothing wrong with this hotel, as such, it was just very basic, as to be barely adequate for a comfortable stay. The staff did just the bare minimum, the room was small and cramped and there was only one lift for a hotel that has fourteen floors, a lift that the staff seemed to share with the guests. Sometimes we'd wait a good five minutes just to get downstairs. The room was only serviced and towels changed in the late afternoon. The staff at the from desk appeared indifferent, and when we checked out at five-thirty in the morning, having been told the previous evening that the front desk was manned twenty-four hours and there would be someone on duty to order us a taxi, there was nobody there. We had to walk up the street with our bags to find a taxi ourselves.

Our front desk is manned 24 hours but there's only one worker there at that time, he might be bothered by some issue and leave for a few minutes.
