Not a good experience, unfortunately
We booked two nights at the hotel. The first room we received was not clean. The toilet had piss stains and the sink had tooth paste stains on it. We called reception and someone came up. To his credit, he looked appalled as well. We asked for another room and were offered a downgrade to the 13th floor (we were on the 14th floor). My wife insisted that we get an upgrade and we were moved to a suite on the 15th floor for one night. That room was wonderful, it had a jacuzzi and was very spacious. On the next day, however, we received another room on the 14th floor. That room had one curtain that wouldn't roll down all the way and was transparent. Which meant that during the day, it was impossible to get some shut-eye. In general - it's a nice hotel. But we should've been offered an upgrade to begin with and the rooms need more maintenance. Too bad. It had a lot of potential. The area is quite nice with lots of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. The staff was friendly. Seems like the management is the problem.

Fantastic location near to subway station and many convenience stores & eateries within walking distance. The only downside was that the Terrace was completely covered up, which was a disappointment since we paid extra just to get a city view.

The rooms are nice and the beds on the terraces are very comfortable. The only odd thing is I had to exchange my ID in order to borrow extra drinking glasses from the front desk. Otherwise a great getaway.

CONS: So little space although it claims to be Deluxe Double wi/ Balcony, 33 sq meter- NO cabinet, closets, desk or dresser no place to store your luggage & clothes other than a little rack. My wife & I felt as if we were in our old college dormitory full of clothes, shopping items & luggage laying around the bed, on the floor & ... for this unpleasant experience costed me about $100/day for 3 days. I paid extra $ than Standard Double to enjoy in a bit larger room; however, it'd turned out to be diasppointed VERY. Fancy bathroom took almost 1/2 of room space. (terrace/balcony is not what one'd imagine) Take Standard Double NOT Deluxe Double w/ Balcony. Average breakfast. Pros: excellent, friendly, courteous, professional front desk staff; cleaning staff & breakfast lady server; clean & well decorated room; lightings are bit dim but elegant; bed linen is crispy clean & mattress is so comfy; A/C works well; v convenient location near Sadang Sub Station, less than 5 min. from hotel, surrounded by many locals stores & restaurants, landmark building Pastel City nearby. Good for solo traveler w no luggage; not for foreigners; well pleased w/ all staff. However, I I'll not certainly go back to this hotel.

The hotel is nicely located and staffs were friendly as well as helpful. Also, the hotel's facilities seems pretty new and it offered good amenities. The disappointing features includes no-window and the size of room. Although, I booked the room with balcony, this weirdly designed balcony virtually blocked the whole view of the city.

Location is the best thing about this hotel. Its one block from Sadang Station. Blue and green lines, so easy to go to Gangnam, Myongdong and dongdaemun. The hotel is very close to Pastel city a modern building with restaurants and cafes. In front of the hotel there is a convenience store. The rooms are big, but little dark. Also the floors are not very clean and heater was always 30 degrees C/ 86F , I had to manually turn on aircon. The wifi is super slow , I did a test and was 1.86 Mbps. The worst were the sheets, I felt itchy everyday because it felt like sandpaper and the towels were very old, so at the end I had to change to another hotel. I would stay there if they have new sheets and towels. Area is great. I have korean friends so pastel city was a great meeting point for everybody. The staff were nice, but they forgot I asked for an iron and to repair my lamp.

Great design, felt like we were the only ones there even though it was almost booked out! Sort of a speakeasy feel, dark and a little cheesy-luxe but intimate and relaxing. Sheets were kind of scratchy if you're sensitive.

Awesome stay
Hotel is in a very good location; less than 5 minutes from convenience stores and the subway. Hotel staff was very friendly and even helped us order takeaway. We would recommend this Hotel.

Nice design but avoid staying here
The hotel looks nice but is not practical, for actually staying there e.g no wardrobe or where to hang your towels. Staff did not speak English and were not helpful. Location was fine for my trip but overall do not stay in this location unless you need to. Breakfast was awful and consisted of unhealthy cereal and white bread. They have 3 hot options on the menu but these were not available with not explanation given.

Great hotel with poor soundproofing
Hotel rooms are clean, amenities are of good quality and rooms are spacious. The only issue is that there is no soundproof between the room door and the corridor so you can hear every single sound happening in the hallway.
