「Casa de Canilhas is the most beautiful property. Staying here was like a dream. The view of the Douro valley & river are breathtaking. The rooms have a rustic vineyard feel, but are beautifully upgraded with modern standards. The infinity pool was perfect temperature & overlooking the valley of grape vines. The daily breakfast was delicious and so fresh. More than enough. the staff was very pleasant & have the property in pristine condition and well maintained. I can’t wait to come back. 」

「This property is full of character and very clean and relaxing. The host was very friendly and made sure our stay was all taken care of. It has a calm vineyard feel. We just want to send a special thank to one of their hosts Francisco who helped us big time in an event of accident. We really appreciate your kind help and the warm hospitality. 「Estadia incrível! Recepção muito atenciosa, quarto limpo e confortável, o hotel é esteticamente lindo, parece aquelas casas de filme, muito fofo! Café da manhã ótimo, lugar silencioso e super acolhedor. Parecia que tínhamos o hotel só pra gente, piscina vazia e um clima adorável. Nao tem estacionamento, mas na rua do hotel tem um supermercado onde tem convênio com o hotel e podemos colocar lá sem taxa alguma. Voltarei com certeza! 」

「Stunning! We stayed in the 2 bed suite is the Casio de campo building…it was like staying in a millionaire decorators apartment!! Huge patio to a stunning view of the mountains/vineyards. Wanted to cancel the rest of our trip and stay there. Breakfast was wonderful. Wine tasting unparalleled!」

「Staff at the hotel were superb.. I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for...

「This was such a special experience. Every member of the team tested us as friends and family. The hotel is beautiful as are viniards. It is to find a better view and it is in every direction. We really enjoyed the 15 course dinner. And their Wellness center is the state of art. Thank you dear friends at Casa De Calçada. We very much loved our time with you」
