“Gigi is a fantastic host. The property is very comfortable and has everything you need. We really appreciated the little touches like quality tissues, toilet paper and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable with soft sheets. Gigi provided a barbecue for us which was much appreciated. The only negative was a bit of traffic noise overnight. Not constant but was quite loud. We would have rebooked but the property isn’t available. ”

“This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The whole unit is very clean, beautifully decorated and located in a really safe and nice part of Bakersfield. It has so much offered, from the welcome basket, to the free amenities like coffee and the variety of teas, to the cozy bed, this is seriously one of the best places I’ve stayed in a long while. In addition, the host is really nice and answered all my questions promptly. Book this place, you won’t regret it. ”

“The place was filthy. cockroach’s. Bugs in fridge. Food particles left on counter and microwave. Bathroom sink not cleaned. No toilet paper, no bedding for pull-out couch, no hand towels, one rag and one dish towel. Glasses and cups were filthy from sitting in the open so long. Table could not be used because any weight causes it to tilt over. Bathroom has nowhere to put you toiletries. The owner responded quick, but they couldn’t get toilet paper right away so we had to buy some. Then we had to……

In the morning, my room door was opened for no reason, and when they saw that I was inside, they immediately closed it again without giving any explanation or apology. Later, I reported this incident to the front desk, but the staff seemed indifferent and simply said it might have been housekeeping. However, this is a serious safety issue — why would someone open a guest’s door without knocking first?"
