The area was very nice and quiet. There is a nice wooden swing under a gazebo that’s lit up in the middle of the parking lot. It’s a nice quiet place to read/listen to music/watch the sunset. Would definitely stay again.

The Rooms are in great condition and Clean. Appear to have been recently updated. We are doing the Route 66 drive and try to stay in "Non-Chain" hotels along that route. This one fits the bill perfectly. Amenities are just as they were when Route 66 first opened. Great Room, Comfortable Bed, Clean - No Free Breakfast just like there was none in days gone bye. Remains on my Stay Again list.

Sleep would have been better if the HVAC had a “constant” fan setting. The heater fan was loud and went off and on so much it was irritating. Other than that, a good, economical place for an overnight stay.

The Reviews are fake
The Motel was nothing like the reviews. It’s old run down and the floor is about to fall in as you walk. The sheet are hard and uncomfortable. We had to call a number so the guy in charge could drive from another hotel to check us in.

Very clean room and a comfortable bed. For the price, it was all I could hope for. A drawback was the motel said they were pet friendly, but the only area my pup could go had a thorny weed growing instead of grass, so when she stepped anywhere she had burrs stuck in her paws that hurt her pretty bad. Staff was very friendly and they even let me check in early.

I really liked this motel
Older retro motel that has been amazingly kept up. I've paid a lot more for modern hotels that were not half as nice. Perfect place to stay on our Rt 66 travels and highly recommend if you need a place to spend the night in Shamrock.

Excellent value.
Second time at this location. Both times rooms clean and an excellent price. It is an older inn and expect it not to be all spit and polished. Love the paintings through out the property reflect the Route 66 heritage.

Property was well maintained. Clean. Room was good size. Only issue was the AC in the room was near the ceiling..I had to stand on the bed, lean across to turn it on.

It’s a great old hotel on Route 66 in One of the iconic towns. So affordable and the bed was absolutely the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in. Great water pressure in the bathroom too. She’s and old girl and has seen some wear and tear but is all the more charming for it. Recommend highly to the adventurers among us.

Bed was super comfy. Instant hot water. Appreciated coffee pots in room. Cleanliness of room was a treat. Lobby was shabby and uninviting. Disappointed that television cable had been disconnected so we were able to watch it. Courtyard looked desolate and unappealing. But, pprice was reasonable.
