"Wonderful family vacation experience staying at this hotel. Easy access to almost everything around. Nice staff and cleaning lady for that 11th floor where we stayed"
"We have been staying at this hotel/service apartment on our yearly visit to Shanghai for many years now. The location and service of the hotel is unbeatable and we love staying here.
However, this year it felt like the common areas are in need of improvement. Particularly the 3rd floor lounge and elevator area. The whole place smelled like dog urine during our entire stay, the rug outside the upper elevator is badly stained and had the worst odor. We told the front desk on several occasions and they would put some cleaning solution on there, but the smell would return after a couple hours.
Breakfast is quite minimal, especially for longer stays. Other than these negative points the hotel is wonderful, and we would likely return again next year. Hopefully the rug is replaced and bad smell is gone by then."
