“lovely clean and quite place with excellent facilities and furnishings nd so so much room e couldn't believe how much space there was here the help we had booking the ferry and the help booking was great the arrival booking portal was good but a tad confusing at first having never used it the new booking in booking out portal was a little confusing to use at first especially as it wasn't made clear that you need to check out on the portal to get the key safe PIN number maybe the key safe……

“The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable. We were cold in the mornings. There was no option for turning the heating on earlier. As we get up early we found that a bit uncomfortable.”

“The cottage was equipped with everything we needed… and more!Comfortable furniture and comfortable beds.The location is great - within easy walking distance of many amenities and yet in a lovely quiet setting… even the ringing of the nearby church bellls was lovely to listen to.We loved the relaxng enclosed garden.Correspondence with the host was easy and prompt.The only thing that was a bit confusing was the ‘booking in’ process… although having done that for the first time, I’m sure it will be……

“Our experience at this hotel was excellent. The lady assisting us to check in was very nice. She showed us around the hotel facilities and gave my kids swimming toys. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel had three swimming pool, one indoor and two outdoor. My kids really enjoyed the pool. In addition, the included breakfast was delicious. This hotel definitely deserves that we come back.”

“Location was perfect. 5 minute walk to beach and old Shanklin. lovely and a very good sized house. Service from the Island company was great when we advised the rug smelt of dog likely from previous guest. Came and collected rug. Maybe just make it clearer there is a tight turning to access rear of property for parking. We had no issues but less confident driver may struggle but doesn’t detract from lovely stay in the property and week on the island.”

“A very nice apartment with excellent sea views. Lounge/dining furniture a little tired but functional. Everything very clean.Guest guide book was not updated for 2026. There was guidance provided to connect a smart TV to the internet and how to access Netflix etc but the actual TV provided was made in 2008 and predated these facilities! Tried to contact the host regarding access door key instructions but call not returned. It would have been useful to have had small waste bins in the bedrooms……

“We had the most lovely long weekend staying at the stylish upper apartment Old Vicarage in Shanklin. It was even nicer than in the photos and being there actually felt like staying in a five star hotel: massive fluffy towels, high-end bathroom products, plush, springy carpets, and a kitchen with everything you could think of, and all new. There was attention to detail in every room, including USB phone charger plugs next to the beds and electric toothbrush chargers in bathrooms. We spent quite a……

“Perfect accomodation for 2. Clean, everything at hand. Quit location altough in the middle of Shanklin and only a few minutes walk to the sea. Wifi was a bit slow.”

“The old vicarage was extremely spacious with lovely gardens - perfect for two families to spend time together. We especially enjoyed the lovely sea views from the veranda - a great place to relax with a glass of wine while the children played football or bounced on the trampoline. The apartment was also perfectly located - a short walk from the beach/minigolf and a range of good restaurants, and easy access to the various sights of the Isle of Wight.
