“Firs, I will say the towels were clean. The room however was shabby beyond compare. The floor isn't level. There are holes in the wall. The curtains are falling off the rod and held in place with zip ties. There were dead bugs on the floor. The rug was stained. The bed was sunken in the middle. The dead bolt on the door doesn't work. I don't know how this owner can allow people to stay there in this condition.”

“Probably my favourite overnight stay my whole trip!! We lived it here in this family run lodge, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, great free breakfast provided, swimming pool and fire pit with wood and chairs all ready for you…… and to top it off - the Northern Lights made a show!! Kennebunkport was beautiful and I couldn’t of found a better place to stay. The lady gave us recommendations for restaurants and bars which we followed and had a stunning meal and a great night. “The girl that works at the check in desk allowed us to check in early which helped us get some sleep after an early flight. Walls are thick. Very quiet. The beach is right down the road and if you have pets, Drake’s Island is one of my favorites. There are lots of really good restaurants nearby. Beachfire has really good food. Horizons Family Restaurant is literally in walking distance from the Inn which serves breakfast. Mike’s All Day Breakfast in Kennebunk was really good. If you like Mexican……

“We had such a great weekend at Mabel’s! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and everything was so clean. We went out of season so the pantry inside was closed but we know we would’ve enjoyed it! We liked that Mabel’s wasn’t right in the bustle of Dock Square but close enough for a short drive over for shops, activities, and food. There’s also a small beach was just a 5 minute walk away from Mabel’s, which we loved! Can’t forget Coveside market just next to Mabel’s - perfect for a snack,……
