"Wow we had a fabulous time! Check in was easy Rueben was very accommodating also letting us know we needed chains as upon our arrival they got about 3 feet of fresh snow! We also brought along our well trained mastiff and he had a blast, special memories for all. There was also a nice little memento for us which a very nice touch. House was fully stocked great location 10 out of 10. Thanks again and can’t wait for return trip. "

"Decided to base our visits to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks from the fantastically located and charming property. Best decision ever. The cabin is extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable - and the bit of quirkiness adds to a great experience (although the shower is indeed narrow! There is no hallway to the 2nd bedroom so its either an outside exit or a walk through of the other bedroom). The internet was fast and reliable. "Wendy’s lake cottage was a great place to stay near Bass Lake for our travels to Yosemite National Park. The location is just a short drive to the South Gate of the park and about an hour to Yosemite Valley. It was the perfect location to first spend a day at the Mariposa Grove and the next to drive into the valley itself. The hot tub was a fantastic reprieve after a long day of hiking and the bed in the primary room was one of the most comfortable we’ve had during our rental house...

Tammy was very communicative and receptive to our needs and the kitchen was way more stocked than we had anticipated. "There is NO place more convenient than this little cabin for a stay near King's Canyon or Sequoia National Park. It's quite literally in the park and while the cabin is over 100 years old, it's been wonderfully renovated to allow for modern conveniences while still retaining it's rustic charm.
