"Beautiful resort in general and I’m sure it’s even more pretty in summer. We stayed at one of the cottages, it was good but bit outdated. Being fall season, the biggest challenge we faced was with heating. Surprisingly one of the rooms did not have any heating but master and living room did. The best part where this resort shined was customer service. The front desk staff were super friendly and helped solve all our needs with a smile. Very accommodating staff. The only reason our stay turned out to be fine was due to the staff. Maybe the cottage is better during summer months but we felt colder. Apart this one issue, the property was beautiful and clean in general. There is kids playground and also a warm indoor pool."

"What a beautiful property! We had a very spacious room with a king room and a seating and kitchen area with a pull out sofa. We even had a real wood burning fireplace! We loved that. Would return if we were in the area."

"The charming home and property were lovely, and we felt at home and comfortable here right away. We are grateful that our little dog, Maggie was welcomed as well. We enjoyed wonderful views of the beautiful scenery all around us.Sandy and John were wonderful hosts and always responded when we reached out. The gift of fresh eggs was appreciated and very thoughtful.Grateful for our time here"

"Wonderful updated lakefront cottage. Friendly and and generous host had stocked refrigerator with farm fresh eggs, milk and butter. Overall well-stocked pantry. Access via ferry is easy, fast, and free. Efficient ferry system takes less than 10 minutes and runs 24-7, so don't let that deter you. Convenient to both Cabot Trail and Louisbourg Fortress. Would stay again."
