I was excited to be staying at the hotel, but unfortunately I left deflated. Room was okay but definitely could hear every single thing from the room next door. The floorboards were creaky. The room was outdated, it had a charm to it but it really didn't feel like they took care of it. Breakfast was really good, staff were friendly.

The room was very clean, breakfast was excellent, the only problem for me was the bar didn't open on Monday-wednesday. Well that's what the sigh said?? Apart from that it was a really nice place 👍 staff where very helpful

Loved it, quirky hotel, not what I expected but absolutely loved it. The place is clean and tidy, a little dated in places but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. There's limited parking, but the bed was really comfy and the surroundings excellent. I'll be back

Very dated and run down hotel, rooms needing an urgent refurbishment. There is a pub with a function room that are part of the hotel, where loud music continues playing until quite late. Location is ok, breakfast had the very basic and while some hot options were ok, others were very underwhelming. Overall, there’s way better options at similar night rates. Wouldn’t recommend.

Good value accommodation in the Hillsborough area. The Restaurant and pub were not open on the Thursday I stayed and I did have difficulty finding somewhere nearby to eat as I am a vegetarian.

Part of the reason I book hotels is so I can get a meal and drink with little fuss. On arrival I was informed it was closed Monday to Thursday. Great location for town centre and hotel architecture is interesting. Staff were all pleasant. Rooms are dated but clean. Room lighting isn't great. Hotel is fine but feels like a Motel more than a hotel.

Hotel looked great online and like a 1970s holiday camp when we arrived with metal staircases and chalet rooms We also had a lovely guest decide to smash the room up under us and threaten everyone police called not 1 member of staff checking anyone was ok Breakfast was awful all in all never to be repeated again

I initially booked another hotel, but then cancelled when they emailed me to tell me their restaurant was closed. I arrived at the Garrison which I have stayed at several times before only to find out that the bar and restaurant are closed Monday to Thursday! They still served breakfast !

Lovely staff, nice clean surroundings. Room was spacious and big bathroom with the bonus of a bath. Only downside was only 1set of towels supplied. Only stayed 1 night so didn’t go ask for more, just managed. Would I stay again? Yes definitely
