I’ve stayed in this hotel many times before, but many years ago. It is in the help of all the shopping and eating, so the location is 10 out of 10. However, this time I decided to stay with them again. But the hotel is looking super rundown and the hallways and rooms smells like rotten egg. I unfortunately will not be staying at this hotel again.

Overall we were happy with our stay at Metropark Hotel. Very convenient to take the lift straight down to Shaibu Metro and a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was large and comfortable. They can improve by providing some plates which could be used in the microwave oven. Some teaspoons or stirrers would make it easier when we made our coffee.

People smoke on non-smoking floors with doors open. Smokes were in the air system. Even though we were supposed to be in non- smoking rooms, it still filled with smoke smells and allergens which made all of us sick with some kind of respiratory allergic reactions, such as eyes, nose, throat irritations, itchiness, and coughing. Non-smoking signs were posted, but no policy, such as fines, used to stop smoking violations. House keeping can be better.

今次是第二次入住這間酒店，整體是不錯選擇，房間夠大，地點好，地鐵上蓋，周圍有食肆，商場裡面有間戲院，離東門5-7分鐘路程。非常方便！下次都會選擇呢間。

Bedbugs and overcharge. Cheap hotel all the way

Hotel is cheap and rooms are big. But mine was infested with bedbugs, and the staff refused to acknowledge the pre-paid breakfast even though it was written on the booking and of course paid for. Cheap hotel indeed, but you will get what you pay for: crappy service, dishonest staff and bugs-ridden rooms. Your call!

The hotel was better than I expected, before the trip I was reading the comments here and it turns out to be a fine experience for me. First, the hotel location is great just right above the SaiBu metro station(exit A2)which you can take a lift straight up your hotel room. Second, there are a lot of food options within the hotel vicinity, HDL is diagonal across the hotel in the Maoye shopping mall. Third, its a walking distance to the famous DongMen shopping street. The hotel staff are decent and greeted us when we are taking lift. The hotel room is huge and in fact its basically a suite, it has a living room and a bedroom. The decoration and fixture are pretty outdated, beds are really hard but was given a choice to select from a range of pillows.

朝食付きで予約したにもかかわらず、フロントで朝食券をもらえなかった。フロントに確認したところ、朝食付きのプランではないとのこと。予約の確認記録を見たら、やはり朝食付き。エキスペディアが悪いの？ホテル？ ホテルは、広くて駅に直結で便利だけど、古い。テンション下がる⤵️ フロントに書き込むカードが、名前の付近に漢族、男性と入力されており、違うよと申したら、これは自動で入るから気にしないでとフロントから言われた。 えー！？とビックリ。

Convenient stay

Convenient location to places to eat and shop, and direct exit (A2) from Shaibu MTR. Rooms were big and clean though the toilet was a little small. Staff were friendly and helpful. Luggage storage service could have be better. There were 6 of us with 12 luggages after check-out, yet we were just asked to leave them in the lobby and doesn't seem very secure (1 luggage tag for the 12 bags). It is only upon prompting that the staff took a filmsy string to tie the luggages together.
