"This property was absolutely fantastic for my wife and I and our two year old dog. The home watery well equipped and the decor and interior was spot on. The grounds were amazing and very well kept and private. In terms of location we were a two minute drive to the waterfront in Chester. Bill and Sandy were awesome hosts and we will make it a point to be back again."

"Clean and well kept cottage. Handy to small beaches and restaurants in Hubbards. Bathroom sink is tiny and a little awkward to use. No hairdryer and no safety shower mat (if you have mobility issues) so bring those."

"We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. "

"My family enjoyed our stay at the cottage!!! Melissa was very helpful in answering all my questions each time I had a question. Even every time I called her she always answered her phone. Even when we could not get into the cottage she sent the person that cleans the cottage to come and let us in and she just lives up the road which we did not have to wait very long at all so the person even changed the batteries in the lock so it did not happen again. Then when I asked her about renting kayaks...

"We had a great stay from August 20-27. We chose this spot as it was close to family in the area and we wanted to be able to base ourselves close to them while also being within an hour or so of a lot of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, etc. The cottage was a great size, with lots of space for our family to relax and spread out. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The outdoor space was just wonderful - we enjoyed a campfire almost every night, and during the day the kids spent hours in the paddleboat...

"Great location, good value. Cozy and comfortable for a week’s vacation. Only challenge is accessibility, I had assumed that both main floor bedrooms would be usable for adults but the small bed is just foam on plywood, so it isn’t practical for an adult to sleep in that room."

"The Land Yacht was spacious, comfortable, well furnished and had a great view of the bay especially from the solarium. The kitchen had everything you would need and then some. Our pluses included kayaking, bicycling and swimming in the pool and the bay. Bring your bikes and snorkeling gear. The host, Thomas (pardon me, the Captain as you’ll learn!), was friendly, helpful, paid attention to detail and close by if needed.
