Guest Houses in Shimoniikawa

"Very friendly"

"Recommend eating dinner at the cafe. It is one of the best meals I've had at a lodging facility in Japan."

"The hotel is not the most convenient to Hakuba town, but it is quite and there is a shuttle to two ski resorts (limited to three times a day, each way). The breakfast is a great way to start the day and the onsen is a nice place to relax after a day of skiing. The rooms are vintage charm, but the staff are so very friendly."

"Amazing stay! Thank you Stayful House!"

"A lovely traditional Japanese hotel with large rooms, elaborate breakfast and very helpful staff. "

"The staff were so welcoming and it was a comfortable environment to stay at. "

"Lovely, great location, friendly staff"

"Feels like home away home "

"温泉郷という事もあり、大浴場や露天風呂はとてもよかったです。お部屋も綺麗でゆっくり過ごせました。何よりも食事の時のスタッフの方々の対応がとてもよかったです。アジアの他国出身のスタッフの方もいらっしゃいましたが、とても印象が良かったです。ただ今の時代のこともあり、Wi－Fiが部屋では全く繋がらなく、1階ロビーでもとても遅かった点が残念でした。"

"It's a wonderful hotel. Very clean, services were excellent. My family including the kids enjoyed staying thoroughly. Very close to our ski school, easy to find. Highly recommended."

"A beautiful tucked away spot in Hakuba! The surrounding forest was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts. About 15min walk to Goryu or they can take you in the shuttle. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and accommodated for, also a lovely spot focusing around keeping your dogs happy and taken care of. Spacious cabin feel and a decent restaurant with some nice options :) I would recommend this to anyone visiting in the winter or summer"

"Great slice of cabin in the woods humble abode. Clean and warm. You will need a car with AWD and snow tires if visiting in the winter. Beware though, there are monkeys in the woods and they come out in the warm late afternoon. While they're incredible to see, they're smart so keep your food close, snap some pictures and steer clear of them. "

"I had a great stay at this lodge. Sean and his family are very friendly and will help you out with anything you need. Very good location if you want to go to Iwatake resort."

"This hotel is a giant log house, situated in a beautiful street of similar buildings. Nothing beats waking up to fresh snow falling outside your window (massive glass windows) and sipping on a hot cup of tea. The room was very cosy and comfortable! I had the best sleeps here. After a hard day of snow boarding, coming back to just sit in front of the fire, watch the snow fall, have a bath or have drinks with friends in the common area was absolutely amazing!! Wish I never had to leave! 10/10!!!! "

"Beautiful little place, run by sweet and helpful people. Great kitchen area too."

"開設側が「民宿で安く提供しているのだから」というプロ意識欠如や、自分の非を理解しない態度はどうかと思う。"

"The host are very nice ! Thanks for the drive to the bus station "
