「Convenient location, nice staff and clean environments. Dinner and breakfast are great and delicious. But the equipment, decorations in one of the two onsen was not good enough to have a five star rating. 」

「Loved that it’s right across the street from the lake. I got a room with a view of the lake and had some amazing pictures. Wish I’d had time to use the terrace but it was closed due to weather. Will definitely come again to use then!」

「A really old-fashioned Japanese onsen experience like nothing else. We ate in the Japanese restaurant one night and French the other evening. The food was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable but old fashioned. I would highly recommend the room with a private onsen - we saw tanuke (Japanese raccoon dogs) approach whilst we were bathing which was a really special experience. We hiked to the ridge (5 hours return) through a beautiful forest.」

「Should provide breakfast take out service for the people who depart to Kamikoji in the early morning.」

「nice 👍」

「A wonderful dinner was included in our stay. The chef came out to explain each dish. There is an outdoor bathtub that is amazing.」
