“A very lovely experience in a very authentic Ryokan. Staff are very nice and friendly. Breakfasts and dinners are truly authentic Japanese fare. Would love to visit again!”
“Our stay at Byaku was one of the most memorable experiences on our Japan trip. The hotel exemplifies Japanese artistry in so many ways, from hospitality to cuisine to design. It was a unique opportunity to stay in an historic region in a beautifully renovated historic Japanese structure. ”
“La Terra Resort is a unique and beautiful crafted, peaceful boutique hotel that we had a delight to stay at during our outdoors exploration, and trek along parts of the Nakesando Trail.
La Terra Resort didn’t disappoint, nestled amongst a beautiful quiet valley setting, tucked under the edge of the forest canopy and surrounded by farmed land, land that served to us our daily meals, with fresh homegrown produce.
La Terra Resort’s owner Silva and his fantastic staff, each went out of their way……
“This hotel is close to the JR station, which is convenient for people who did not drive. The drawback for this hotel is that it did not equip with elevator, so beware that you may have to walk to the 3rd or 4th floor with your luggage.”
“This hotel surpassed expectations from a service and amenities standpoint. It was easy to find and there were plenty of dining options nearby. We had a family of 6 split into 2 rooms and they were kind enough to provide 2 rooms that were beside each other for us. ”
"Everything was great, and the service was nice. However, the private hot spring couldn’t be reserved in advance, so we had to wait until checkout to see if it was available. Also, there was no shuttle bus, which isn’t convenient for someone traveling on foot, especially on a rainy day."
