“Lovely old fashioned room with a large single bed. Very comfortable bed and an ensuite shower room.
All the staff were lovely and friendly and breakfast was delicious.
I booked the hotel to use as a base to attend 3 race meetings. Cheltenham on the way up, Liverpool on day 2 and nearby Bangor-on-Dee on day 3. It worked out perfectly and I was even able to visit Wrexham as well, so no complaints from me. ”

“The Burlton Inn was excellent for our needs, being halfway home from Southampton to our home for an overnight stop. The pub itself was very attractive, and the local beer was rally good. The accomodation was fine. The rooms were in an adjacent cottage style annexe, just across the large car park. The choice of evening meals was wide, and the food was good. Breakfast was continental only, but very healthy. Would we stay there again? YES!

“We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. ”
