“Mixed review. The room was clean, even if a bit dated. The bathroom could have been better for the room rate. The mira shower was similar to the one I had at home more than 20 years ago. The pillows were firm and of poor quality for a room costing over £300 per night but the bed was comfy.
The longe area had a fabulous sea view and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The parking was easy.
The breakfast was a bit sparce for £40 but cooked very well.
We would stay again if on the area.”

“Breakfast was plentiful and very nice however the evening meal was awful. Nice hotel and spa facilities and lots of parking but the restaurant lets the whole place down.”

“Clean room. Mattress not great very springy and going in all directions and had to ask for a duvet the second night to lie on to get some sleep. This was disappointing
Bar good. Booked for dinner but service was sadly lacking, food ok. Outside balcony good to sit outside and staff table service was good
Spectacular view from the room and may visit again ”

“Very enjoyable short break in Torquay. Hotel was very nice, comfortable and the facilities in the spa and pool exceptional.
Only slight criticism is that we found the menu for dinner in the restaurant quite restrictive with no specials available. Food was fine but options not great.
Would definitely return to hotel but wouldn't have evening meal there again.”
