“What a charming place. The location is perfect inside of the ruins, close to main plaza. Free and 24hr parking. The price incredible. For being in the middle of town, it was not loud and the rooms were dark in the morning so you can sleep in. Definitely adds to feeling you are back into the 16th Century.”

“The hotel is surrounded by nature and ideal for people who enjoy peace and quiet. Also ideal for those travelling with pets. The restaurant serves good food and hotel staff where very friendly. Our room was clean and had comfy beds. On-site parking available. Only downside was an 'occasional' stench in the room from the drains.”

You have to trust them as the approach looks a bit unlikely as you get nearer. May be tricky if arriving in the dark. We were a bit nervous about the entry process using links on our phones but it was all very easy in practice. Just be sure to have mobile signal & power in your battery. We had the place to ourselves so it felt like staying in a huge……

“Great hotel,nice people etc”
