“Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I really enjoyed the tour I received from the cart driver (I totaly forgot her name, but I do remember she met her husband there and has been volunteering there for many years) She has a passion for the place and after the tour I could see why. Grounds had everything you would need to make your overnight stay or week long stay memorable and relaxing. I was able to fish off the dock, watch the young adults play home run derby on the ball field and……

“Very nice rooms, nice breakfast, nice swimming pool. We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights, and the hotel is not cheap, so I was taken a little aback that there as no.maid service on Sunday - no new towels and such. We wanted coffee pods for the next morning, and that took us a while to hunt down. Other than that, a great base for exploring Fort Ticonderoga!”

“Loved the quietness. Very relaxing and close to the Ticonderoga ferry on Lake Champlain on the Vermont side. The owners are very nice. Serves a fabulous breakfast every morning. Has a bar on property as it is a pub and offers food only Thursday to Sunday for an extra cost for those staying at the Inn and some locals in the area. The area is rural and lots of dairy farms in the area. There is an Exxon Mobil station less than a mile away that is quite large. You can also get food there. There is……

“There was plenty of parking space and the location was great as it was close to the Lake George attractions. The manager was nice and accommodating. However, the hotel stairs and passageways were dirty. My room had a towel that seemed to be dirty with dust stains and the soles of my socks were black after walking in them for about 1/2 hour. Unfortunately, smoking is permitted on the premises and the smell seeped into the room. Fridge, microwave and TV worked well.”

“We understand that this property has changed hands several times and it currently shows with the lack of staffing and no food service on given days.There was no snack nor food items available. Having stayed here several times in the past it really has declined in the past experiences we have had there. Our room was clean and the accommodations fine but the rest of the area needed service especially at the front desk and departure.”

“Upon arriving I was told my reservation was not found and booking through a 3rd party (Expedia) it sometimes cancels on its own. After some “searching” they found it and said I got the last room. When I finally got into my room the lock would not work and this was a problem since I’m a single mom with young kids. I was told it’s fine you need a key to unlock the door and only the staff have access to this. I was very unsettled and not heard. I had to prop a chair under the handle for safety.”

“Upon arrival we were assigned a parking space in front of our room. Unfortunately, a guest staying in the neighboring room was constantly parked in our space which left us parked in front of the laundry/bathroom. I pointed it out to the front desk attendant but it was not resolved during our two day stay.”

“The place was nice. I just like my carpet vacuumed better. I do feel the hotel needs to invest in a better vacuum. Breakfast was great. Everyone tried their best.”
