The property are very clean and the reception girls are so friendly and sweet and the place is walking distance to China town and metro overall amazing place to stay
Hardworking and efficient staff. Autonomous business set up that is both refreshing as well as progressive. Overall a delightful and unique experience that is worth recommending to every backpacker 🤗

Price per night was ok. 1h 15 minutes by metro from the airport. It’s an affordable option so expectations should be also low, however the hostel should improve cleanliness. Staff was not available after 5 pm. There was no information how to contact them after that hour.
On the plus side: localization ok, close to dining options (i.e., Maxwell market) and to the ChinaTown metro station. Also walkable distance to Singapore Bay Area (30 minutes, note that you will be walking in sun and high humidity). Easy checkin/checkout process.
Constant noise 24/7. I stayed four nights in a twelve bed mixed dorm. People coming and going at all hours of the night, turning on the lights, loud conversations, loudly playing content or gaming on their cell phones. Karaoke during the night from very near by establishment.
Excellent location, but promised free WiFi non-existent in rooms, had to go outside room. Very cramped room. If you want extremely basic accommodation in a great location, it's OK.
Customer support was not contactable at all and room policy not clear. We ended up seeing the room but leaving right away. Easily one of the worst.

Liked: Cleanliness
No reception access beyond 10:00-19:00
Steep stairs from ground all the way up to reception or rooms on following levels.
On 2 levels (with about 100 ppl each), no separate toilets
After check in, street ware (shoes) within property, not allowed.
Small fridge, only microwave, hot/ cold drinking water is available.
No air con in dining area.
Jammed small room, comphy bed with nice new beddings (sheet, quilts, mattrass).
Only local (British) power outlets (without shelves), accessible from bed.
Excellent location, though.
Easy access to China Towe, People's Park, MRT (DT19)
All in all, good for the money.

Not the best, not the worst.
The hostel itself was in a prime location.
However, the rooms were extremely cramped with very little room to move around. Lockers were not big enough for large baggage so had to remain on the floor (creating less space) beds were very comfy with good quality bedding.
The hostel could do with more bathrooms as 2 toilets per floor wasn’t enough, and it could do with separate toilet/showers as people showering also took up the toilet for sometime. The kitchen was fantastic with adequate seating.
This hostel was also not your typical hostel. It was filled with non backpacker type people. People with no hostel etiquette such as waking the whole room up at 5am or leaving the door wide open on a night. There were also family’s who would take up the whole room, making a solo traveler (like myself) very uncomfortable as I felt like I was intruding.
Also the rules of the hostel did not seem to be enforced at all. There were very young children running around (naked) when the hostel was supposed to be 15+ and there were people cooking full meals in the bedrooms, using plug in appliances despite myself being told no food in the rooms.
Overall, the hostel attitude could do with some improvement and some extra toilets would not go a miss
the staff is ok. they are attentive to our need but the facilities are not. iexpectmy expectation regarding the facilities are not met. It was'nt a great experience staying in this hotel. The price is not reasonable.
