"I was very pleased with my room. It was a simple room but very clean and it was a very very nice location overlooking the Main Street via the balcony. I enjoyed sitting out and watching the city life go by. The only thing that some people may have to be aware of is that as expected in Amsterdam there are relatively steep stairs going into the hotel although I was told that an elevator will be added by next year. Overall I was very pleased with my stay."

"We recently stayed at The Hoxton in Amsterdam for three nights in late August, and I would absolutely stay here again. The staff was incredibly helpful and seemed to understand right away the kind of experiences we were looking for. Their recommendations for restaurants, boat tours, and other activities were perfectly suited to our tastes and really added to our trip. The hotel is also very well located, making it easy to explore Amsterdam, and they provide bikes free of charge, which was such a great perk. It’s a lovely, welcoming place with a great atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend The Hoxton to anyone visiting Amsterdam."

"Solo male traveler. Staff spoke English. Got 2 free complementary drink choices such as wine, juice or beer. You need a key pass to enter the elevator. 24 hours staff. Convenient location being across from the canals. Also nice the hotel is connected to the train station. I had a corner room with an amazing view of the city. Bathroom was cool. I enjoyed my stay, I even extend my stay one more day. I would stay here when traveling back to Amsterdam."

"Great location in the middle of everything which is what i wanted. I would have rated 5 star butt workers started to put up pipe and plank staging on the front of building 1 ft from my door which leads to balcony. I wished i would have been notified and then i would have picked a room in back. They start early clanging pipes and dropping planks so we couldn't sleep in if we wanted to. Keep in mind the place is clean, safe and has a great location if u dont have a car."
