“Although it was an old building you could tell they have beem refurbished it. Everywhere was spotless and the staff were brilliant from start to finish. The room was a little small but had everything you need even a hairdryer. Would love to come back and I'm sure we shall.

“We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre.
The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels.
We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights.
We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge.
Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel .
Caroline and Laura were helpful , we rang because we could not quite find your location on our sat nav. staff helped us on this matter and then found you……

“Stayed here twice now & doesn’t disappoint.
Room lovely & clean with nice touches such as bath robes and lots of various toiletries.
Full tea & coffee making facilities with nice biscuits
