「If you’re disabled or just an older guest beware the rooms have not been reviewed by an appropriate person. I found the bathroom a death trap. No grab rails in the shower but the worst was the slippery floor in the toilet with nothing to grab onto when struggling to arise from the toilet. My husband had to help me but not before on making an attempt my feet slipped and I finished up with a nasty fall and a now painful back. At 2am I had to ring reception I was frozen- the radiator didn’t work...

「Checked in and advised last orders for food in the bar was 19:00 so went down at 18:45 ordered a drink and then got totally ignored by the 2 members of staff for about 10 minutes and was then advised that they would not be able to serve any further food so ended having to go to a local pub. In the room the central light fitting over the bed was that low that the top of the lampshades was below eye level, it was that low that if you sat on the bed you could not see the TV. 「Our stay was somewhat disappointing. The bed was too small for two people and not long enough, making it uncomfortable to sleep. We were assigned a disabled-access room, and unfortunately, the bathroom and toilet had a noticeable smell of urine. Breakfast was adequate but limited in variety. The poached eggs were undercooked, and the bacon was not crispy. I also observed that some wait staff handled food without gloves — for example, placing croissants in baskets or touching bread directly...
